    For the company we booked with, our travel agent gave us the impression that we would receive the cash back from these rooms and could do with it as we wished. It hasn't happened yet (and won't until final payments are made by our guests October 1), so I'm not entirely sure. Of course this may be entirely different depending on who you booked with though and what their fine print says (I'm in Canada, you're in the USA).

    No worries, glad to hear she was able to get you some great quotes! Definitely ask around and decide if you'd rather have someone you can see face-to-face here though. To us that wasn't important and we met with one group travel "specialist" from a flight centre here and weren't impressed at all. We've been working with Kristy since February and she's been excellent. She's good with email, but I have found that she's quicker to get responses from by telephone.

    Congratulations, that's gorgeous! My dress is also a fit to flare like that. Looks like it hugs the butt so tight, I wonder how hard going to the bathroom is going to be!

    Also what happens for meals for babies? Kids too young to not get anything, but also not old enough to probably have a cheeseburger or spaghetti and fries? Is there something the resort does for kids that are around 1 yr old? Is there a cost?

    I'm sure this has been in one of the previous 300+ pages, but I can't find it. Does anyone know off the top of their head how many paper lanterns would be good to bring to help decorate Castaways? Would 30 be enough? Do the lanterns in Castaways just get hung around the perimeter of the room?

    Same here. I included cost of wedding bands in our budget, but definitely not engagement ring. I told my fiance I don't want to know what it cost, but to make sure he dealt with insurance and kept the papers (and copies of!) somewhere safe.

    Did any of you use DavetDesigns to put stickers on travel mugs? If so, what size of sticker did you use? I had our mugs shipped to my brother in the US (way cheaper!) so I can't quite measure them exactly.

    Awesome work! I went back to WW in March and I'm down about 11 so far! Took a bit of a hiatus for a few months, but my FI and I are both on the bandwagon now, with the last few months to go before the wedding! We just bought the new 50th anniversary cookbook and are working hard at trying some of the recipes and being mindful of our portion sizes. My FI gets 35 points a day while I'm stuck on 26. When I told him this, he started cheering "woohoo, bag of chips or 2 beers extra for me per day"! Stinker.

    Hello Holly from downstairs! Robin and I are both following Weight Watchers right now. I use an app on my phone that works like a charm. Pop up if you want to chat! We're both on about the same timelines!

    I think they look great! I couldn't read p. 4,5, or 6 on my computer because I must not have that font and it just looked like a bunch of symbols. The only part that confused me was p. 3 of your invites "Together with their parents, Arthia and Debra Invite you to join them..."     Amazing, congrats! I find it helps so much to have a goal to be working towards! I was supposed to do the NYC marathon in November, but when it was cancelled my entry was bumped to this year! So we're going to be in NYC the month before our wedding for the marathon. I need to start training too!

    I purchased my dress from preownedweddingdresses.com/.com. I also searched on kijiji, but found the best selection on preowned. I've seen a bunch of groupons for gown cleaning lately. I'm in Edmonton, but wouldn't be surprised if there were also some in Toronto.

    That sucks you haven't heard! In this situation I recommend splurging on the long distance and picking up the phone and calling her. I was waiting forever to hear back after we submitted our paperwork and then my travel agent who was handling our group booking just called her on our behalf and our date was confirmed within minutes!
