So somehow Canada Post lost our entire box of wedding decorations somewhere between our place and the post office (2 blocks away)! They left a delivery notice on the door and I've gone to pick it up but the parcel was never checked in to the pick-up facility. C'mon now... Hopefully it turns up! We also just booked four nights after the wedding for a mini-honeymoon - at Secrets on the Vine Cancun. We've never stayed in the hotel zone in Cancun before, so it should be a different kind of experience than at a more secluded resort. I'm really looking forward to this! Need to get my dress in somewhere locally for alternations in the next month or so. This wedding is coming quickly!

In terms of doing a test run for hair and make up - I thought of it, but was so busy floating in the ocean with all of our friends and family that it became a low priority. The stylists are great and really do the hair and makeup to what you want. It seems that the make up is a lot at first but it stays on all night plus photographs great. Don't worry brides to be - just as other brides said, NJ will take care of you. I literally went through the consultation and went through my suitcase of items. Deisy had it all down, and it turned out perfect. I would recommend being as organized as possible. Let me know if you have any questions. I will prob get to my review later in the month. Congratulations and thank you for the quick update! Again, always refreshing to hear that even though our emails may sit unanswered that things will be looked after once we arrive! Looking forward to reading your review. Hopefully Pilar is okay! -

Has anyone set up their reception in Castaways using one long rectangular table, rather than several smaller ones? Do you know how many people a long table in Castaways could accommodate? -

Their outfits came in a complete set of pants/vest/shirt/tie, but we replaced the ties to coordinate with the rest of the wedding party. We chose black & it was easy to match. For the 9-year old, I found pants & a vest (set) at jcpenney.com. We purchased the white shirt & tie separately. Izod, Nautica and Steve Harvey make adorable boys' vest sets. You can Google "boys vest sets" & look at the Shopping Results. Also, here is a nice selection @ Macys.com http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/nautica-kids-set-little-boys-4-piece-vest-set?ID=781364&cm_mmc=Google_Seasonal_PLA-_-PLA_General+PLA-_-13472309675__mkwid_YE14AvJk_13472309675%7C-%7CYE14AvJk&gclid=COKh7KiRpLkCFTHxOgodFBkAVA For us, the "sets" were the way to go. They were so reasonably priced that we were able to pay for their outfits ourselves which we were happy about. We priced rental tuxes for the little boys & it was going to be around $100 each, which we felt was too much. I hope this helps you out. I remember the stress of pulling it all together. Oh...and here is a picture of my guys...(of course I'm biased), butI thought they looked so cute Thank you! I will check out everything you have mentioned! I absolutely love the black/pink contrast you had! -
We ordered ours from discountmugs.com and then put labels on them from DavetDesigns off etsy. They do ship to Canada, but I think for our order of 50 mugs it would have been maybe $75? I'm lucky and have a brother living in the US so I had them sent to him. I'm impressed with the quality of them though!

We booked our packages through Westjet vacations. We're actually the only ones flying out of Alberta, the rest of our guests are BC, ON, NB and NS. A handful of people booked on their own, but we did our group booking through Pose Travel (posetravel.com). I highly recommend them, they've been great to work with. -

We were only able to get ours about a year in advance. So hopefully in the next few weeks you'll start being able to get something! The waiting is hard. Keeping an eye on the November 2013 rates should give you a ballpark idea?

Where have you all found matching kids attire? We have a six year old boy in our wedding party and I was hoping to find him a vest and pants that will (as close as possible!) match my groom! Has anyone found any decent online stores for kids formal wear? -
Hahah, I just checked our registry and this is so anti-"Operation Wedding Dress" but the very first thing to be purchased was an ice cream maker! I have no idea who it was, we sort-of only registered because our parents pressured us to, and it definitely wouldn't have been either them who purchased it! Ice cream maker, woohoooooo!!!!

Yes, apparently they are! There's quite a few brides from other threads on this forum who have ordered stickers from them with very positive reviews. I haven't seen them yet (had them shipped to the USA) but I'll be picking them up next weekend! I had tried to price it out for a DIY project. I realized it would probably cost me a ton in supplies and then I'd spend hours fumbling with my printer making sure they were all lined up properly. 50 - 3" stickers cost us $30 on etsy. We bought the "To have and to hold, to keep your drink cold" ones. Heheheh -

We purchased stainless steel travel mugs from discountmugs.com and had etsy seller DavetDesigns make up some custom stickers for us. We found the stickers were much cheaper than having the company print right on the mugs. I'll post a photo once I make one up (next weekend!) http://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DavetDesigns?section_id=7968480 -

We purchased ours from cheaptotes.com for something ridiclious like 88 cents each. We're going to make a stencil and use fabric paint to put something on to it. I had them shipped to my brother (they didn't ship to Canada) and he opened the box and they shipped us 60 bags, instead of the 30 we ordered (we only paid for 30!). Here are some of the stencil ideas I've bookmarked: http://petscribbles.blogspot.ca/2013/02/how-to-stencil-canvas-tote-bag.html http://www.littlemissmomma.com/2011/04/how-to-stencil-purse-or-tote.html http://tidymom.net/2010/monogram-stenciled-canvas-bag/ http://ruffledblog.com/do-it-yourself-welcome-guest-bags/
