    Were you able to get a date figured out? We are going to be there Dec 11-18, 2013, and everything was booked up that week until Dec 16. We didn't get our first choices for cocktail hour or reception space, but I'm sure it will be fabulous! I really hope something worked out for you!

    I'm exactly a month before you on December 16! We didn't get our first choices for that day, but I think they'll still be great. We're at the Pergola, Orange Lounge and Castaways.

    We had the same problem at first, but then our travel agent just phoned her and we got confirmation within 24hrs. So much easier than waiting for email, it's worth the long distance fees!

    Hi Kari! I'm from Edmonton and am getting married at Now Jade on Dec 16! We're so excited! And yes, given the slow resort communications, this forum is pretty great!

    Our ceremony is scheduled from 6-9 PM (for the three hours included in the Divine package). What are most of you doing afterwards? It seems early to end the party at 9. Are most of you paying to extend it by a few hours? Or is there a bar in the hotel you can recommend guests going to instead? Our ceremony is on a Monday, is there a disco or anything open?

    Thanks for this photo, this is awesome! I too have been looking for photos of the orange lounge without much success. I guess we'll be busy taking photos during this time, but still want to know it will be a great spot for our guests to chill out!

    I've heard that they'll reserve a section of a lobby (or other??) bar for you for a welcome cocktail hour for free. Not sure about using the actual cocktail hour that comes with the wedding package at a separate time though.

    Thank you for posting those. Castaways wasn't our first choice, but it's where our reception will be. It's nice to see the photos of the space.

    Thanks for posting this. I've been really curious to see how the extras all add up and how they document it. This is actually my first post, but I've been reading pages and pages of threads on Now Jade. Thank you all for sharing your info on your weddings, it's helping us make our decision on if we want a destination wedding or if we should organize one in Canada.
