Hi shelikespink! Congrats on your upcoming wedding My fiancé and I are getting married at the Lindo. We went with the Dream package and that was $5,000 for 30 people. Our guest list is now up to 87 people so we will have to pay $25 for each additional person staying at the lindo resort. We have a few guests staying at other resorts and we are going to be charged more, I think it was like $60 a person. That covers their food and drinks. My wedding reception will be on the beach, so they will only allow us to have a buffet style dinner. The buffet comes with so many different varieties of food, chicken, beef, fish, lobster, salad, sides. The guests are going to have a lot to choose from Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I'm not sure where it is located sorry! Congrats to you as well! We went with DJ Doremix they were $1235 for 4 hrs. I actually discovered them on this site. There were quite a few brides who recommended them and said they were so much fun! They also have this amazing light up dance floor, it's a little pricey but I've heard its definitely worth it. For photos we went with Adventure Photos they came with our package and we just upgraded what they were offering us. The photo package that came with our wedding package was 60 photos. We upgraded to full day coverage for $1,000.

The Lindo also offers a site they call the Kiosk, it looks very similar to a Gazebo that can hold 300 guests. As well as the Chapel (catholic ceremonies only) that can hold 180 guests.

Hi Ashleyhozey! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! My wedding is April 17th at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo! You won't hear from the wedding coordinator until about 4 months before your wedding. My fiancé and I decided to use a Travel Agency to assist our guests with booking rooms, questions, etc. Our Travel Agency is Dreamers Travel. They had direct contact with the wedding coordinators so I was able to access them with any questions I had about my wedding well in advance. We have picked our flowers, decorations, Dj, and photographer. We are now just getting into planning out all the final details! Please let me know if you have any questions! I think the cocktail hour location will depend on where you are having the ceremony. My ceremony is going to be on the beach and the cocktail hour will be held on the beach as well. Hi pitchie04, Its best to find a Travel agent to work with. They have direct contact with Iberostar. Try Apple Vactions or Dreamers Travel.

Your wedding video was beautiful. What videographer did you use?

We have set up a travel service for our guests through Dreamers Travel. They have been awesome so far!

Hey girls, My fiancé and I went with the dream package which includes 60 photos through Adventure Photos. If we stick with Adventure Photos then we would definitely upgrade the package to get full day coverage. I was just wondering if you ladies were also offered this within your packages, and if so why you didn't stick with it? I'm really nervous because I want a decent photographer, and I'm really not sure about Adventure Photos.

MommyBride14, We plan on having our ceremony on the beach. I know where you're coming from when it comes to shoes! I had such a hard time deciding what shoes to choose. I really wanted to go with wedges but was worried that I would sink in the sand even with the runner. I ended up getting really cute dressy sandals from Badgley Mischka. I'm still thinking about getting wedges for the reception, unless our reception is on the beach. When did the WC contact you to start planning all the details? My wedding is April 17th so I still have some time to go, but I'm just wondering how long I have to wait. I also wanted to ask you when you sent your wedding invitations? I've read that they should be sent at least 6 months ahead of time for destination weddings.

How much was the light up dance floor?! That sounds like so much fun! I've heard about doremixx is this the DJ that Iberostar provides or is it an outside vendor?

I'm planning on taking ceremony decorations and reception decorations. Have any fellow brides received info on shipping items down there? As of right now I'm planning on getting extra suitcases and checking them on the plan.
