    It's stressful to think that after our destination wedding we will be throwing an AHR. It's like planning for two weddings! I'm regretting committing to it.

    Amysis- thank you for all of the info. It's really helpful. I'm finding it difficult to understand the menu, but per your recommendation I will avoid the tuna salad. Kristadawn- your wedding is fast approaching. How exciting! We are bringing our own decorations because I can't justify paying the resort prices. We bought ikea lanterns and will be doing something similar to this:.

    It's really ridiculous the amount of time I have spent on this site. I took a break in the middle of planning, but now with 4 months to go, I'm back everyday!

    Our PV wedding is in January, however having traveled there 6 times I would agree with the reasons you have listed. It has areas that are modern, however still has that old Mexico charm and culture which I love. The city is absolutely beautiful.

    We are both January 2014 brides! I think that the resort prices are crazy, so we are planning to bring decorations and hiring our own DJ.

    Both places are beautiful. We chose PV because of cost concerns for our guests (and because we love it).

    $300 is an amazing deal In my opinion. I've read on here that others were told it would be very expensive to rent the restaurant for a private party. We are choosing to do the bonfire.

    Reading this makes me nervous for my 01/2014 wedding there. I'm hoping that I don't encounter the same problems that you had.

    I have considered using medifast because everyone has amazing results. I bought my wedding dress one size smaller so I have to lose the weight! 4 months to go!!

    I'm not sure about this one. Dreams provides a room for the groom the night before as part of our package, but I'm not sure if we will use it.

    Did you have to add the ribbon to your ceremony fans? I just purchased my fans from oriental trading and was hoping to just add coral ribbon.
