Congrats Rayn, I also wanted to have a St Lucia wedding but now that everyone is having kids I had to be more budget and family friendly in my choices. Absolutely in St. Lucia you will have a wonderful wedding. I'm already planning ahead, if I can't have my wedding there, I'll celebrate my 1 year anniversary there! Lol That must be an awesome feeling to begin having people book their trips and rave about the invitations. Congratulations!!!

I also use pinterest but would love to find a way to fully organize that as well. This is my same exact problem! I have emails, ripped up magazine articles, emails electronic pictures lol. Awesome! Sounds like you are motivated and as long as you stick to your meals I'm sure you will lose them permanently! You can also try to include the quick 30 day workouts of squats and abs into your workouts. Im going to look these up at Walmart over the weekend. I've used the livestrong app to track my meals and I've found it to be helpful. Time is flying! I also tried the military diet twice earlier this year and I lost a total of 12 lbs. The diet is very strict and if you do try it, I would not recommend doing much exercise during those days as you will more than likely get lightheaded and feel weak.

Yes the Jellyfish is an off-resort restaurant. That's great that you two talked and came to an agreement. Having the fiance's support is reassuring. I actually lost a friend in this whole wedding process because she was upset about whom I chose as a MOH and even declined to be a bridesmaid and later told my fiancé she isn't even going to the wedding. She has yet to tell me this herself. And she was one of my closest friends. Even though for a while, I felt bad and guilty and was considering getting rid of the bridal party, I also remembered this is MY wedding and not hers. As long as you and the fiancé are happy with your choices, do not let anyone make you feel like you HAVE to do something you don't want to.

I'm getting married December 13, 2014 at the Jellyfish in Punta Cana. I'm still deciding what resort we'll be staying at. You cannot ask someone to be in your party out of pressure or guilt. Speak to the fiancé about the assumptions and how he should help you stop this. Agreed! But eventually we must remember the day is about the bride and the groom only. I agree, the fiancé needs to back you up. That has been my answer lately when his family or others try to put their input on how OUR wedding should be taking place or what decisions we need to make.

Congrats on the weight loss!!!! And welcome to the thread. While I'm not super active writing on the thread, I do get a lot of motivation, tips and support from all these wonderful brides. It sounds like we are totally alike! If only we could get up without feeling like zombies and get a workout in.

They are beautiful!!!!! Where did you get them done? That's a great point. I only asked my maid of honor. The rest of the friends I have in mind to be as BMs I haven't asked because I also don't want them to feel pressured especially when they have their own family and financial problems. I'm also waiting on figuring out who is coming before I even ask. I do have over a year for my wedding, so I haven't completely stressed about this part yet. Good luck!
