i was thinking about a washcloth. wash it before i pack it. thought it might be a nice touch, however the hotel we're at is top notch, so i thought that might be a waste.. but i still like the idea! i just wish i could make it a hot towel like they used to do on the airplanes for far travels like before!

i'm having the same issue, especially because we put a deposit down to block the rooms & the guests have up to a month prior to the wedding to get this special deal (50% savings for a 4 star hotel!) & it's frustrating because if they don't book, & we don't get the required minimum rooms, we lose the deposit & our guests who book lose the deal. So then my dad said he'd have to pay the difference which then hits into the budget! ugh!

I'm only halfway through the first book & like you said, it's not the best book, but then again, i don't like to read. i read pretty little liar books & back in high school I read Harry Potter (i'm a dork I know haha) but i am interested to see the movie b/c i can only imagine how different it's going to be..they're going to have to cut out a lot of scenes! haha

what did you decide? because those were my two choices, but my mom gets sea-sick & that's what worried us about other guestsso we're going with a luau, get the whole hawaiian feel..

this isn't so much of advice as it is the other side of things... not to mention, this is a year after you posted this, so i'm sure you've already picked your locations & such. my family & i always stay on the West side of Maui, in Ka'anapali, at the Westin. because of Lahaina & the hotel is amazing. The prices are better, more to do, more to see. BUTTTTT wedding things are done on the South side of the island, making me pick what to do. Originally, I was going to do my wedding on the West side, but after searching and picture stalking it just isn't the same or as beautiful as the South side is! So now, we're getting a deal at the Westin, in Ka'anapli & our wedding is in Wailea at Gannon's! what did you decide!?

They get along & I would have my uncle set it up at one of their houses & they would watch it there (as long as the time difference is ok, or maybe just have it recorded & then sent to them!) Hair & makeup- is this someone on the island? if so, what is the company? do you have a website or contact number? i'm suppose to have a friend or two hairdressers who are suppose to be coming, however I need a back up & a review like yours, is great! thank you for your time & review p.s. congrats on your wedding!

Aloha ladies (& gentlemen), Alright, I know I'm way behind, but I've started to read 50 Shades of Grey & let me tell you, it's a good book. It's very vulgar & very detailed, but for us future wives, it may just help us So, my thought & question to you (without giving much away & watching what we say): 1) Have you read the book? - If you say yes, have you read the 2nd & 3rd? - If you say no, I think it's a good honeymoon book (you may learn a thing or two) 2) What made you read it or not read it? I know personally I am not a reader & I don't go along with the flow. I never had time to read & only enjoy summer/beach reading, however, all my friends read it & said it was a life changer & might help me with my honeymoon in 5 months! So.. what is everyone else's thoughts?
