    It's great to let people know early on. I feel people are a lot more understanding when its a destination wedding too. The guest list is always the hardest part!! Good luck

    Congratulations!!!! Planning has been so much fun! I'm getting married next January in the Mayan Riviera as well. Like you, my reception has to end around 10/10:30..I was thinking we could all just head to the resort disco afterward that is open until 2am?! I was also thinking about renting a bus to take us to one of the nearby nightclubs, but I wasnt exactly sure how this would work. Has anyone left the resort after the reception??

    I'm obsessed!!! They look so lovely I definitely agree with you on finding a good tech, I've seen people get them done by someone inexperienced and their lashes were going in all sorts of directions.... Does it matter what type of lashes they use (i.e. extreme lashes vs. lavish lashes)?? Maybe I'm over thinking this lol... I've been using Latisse for 2 years now and I love it, but I still need to wear mascara to get the look I want....Maybe i'll get a trial this summer!?! Watch me get hooked

    I'm so torn with this issue too!! I hate the fact that I have to make out a complete song list anyway, and then pay a "dj" >$100/hour to hit play....wish I had a DJ in the family!!!

    First of all, I loveee this dress!!! Of course you find a dress that's missing the one requirement lol... I think the scalloped detailing in nice, but i think the sweetheart neckline adds a little bit more "oomph" Good luck!

    I've never had them before. I've heard that people who get them done consistently do lose some eyelashes, but I'm not too sure if that's the case if you only have them done once. Think i'll look into that though!

    I'm also getting married at Now Jade next year. I've decided to use the package photographer for our rehearsal dinner/welcome cocktail party and then I've hired an outside photographer "Sascha Gluck" to capture my actual wedding day. Like you, I have heard very mixed reviews about the resort photographers, and it seams like they're always switching them around and its never a constant person. I guess it just depends on how important pictures are to you, good luck!

    Wow they lasted 4 days? That's great!! Usually I cant get mine to stay on more than one day.... If you just Google eyelash extensions in your town, places near you should pop up....I guess it depends on where you live. For instance, I live in Boston and you can get them at hair salons, medi spas, dermatology offices, and there are even boutiques that specifically apply eyelashes. I believe prices probably depend on where you live as well. Ive seen anywhere from $200-$300 here in the city, but there about $150 in the small town where my parents live. Not sure if you're familiar with Groupon, but sometimes they offer deals on local salons that offer extensions as well.

    Although I DO always wear mascara on my bottom lashes, and these dont look too bad....ahhhhh, decisions decisions!
