Keep us updated with the details, I love seeing pictures of different ideas Like you, I didnt really care to have a wedding party either (less for me to have to worry about!). Then it started off with my FI wanting his brother as a best man....so I was like "ok, we'll have a best man and a maid of honor...thats it". Then a few weeks later he says "Its really important to me that I have all my best friends as groomsmen". lolol and so it began, now we have 7 groomsmen and 3 bridesmaids.....ohhh well, cant win em all! On a side note, we just opened our first registry today

I know, that's the only part that's a downer with having a destination wedding Let's stay positive though, hopefully they'll all still love us no matter what!!

Nice work girl!! I've been doing Insanity and using the myfitnesspal app to keep me on track. Just came across fitness blender a few weeks ago and I love throwing some of their workouts into the mix...keep up the good work!!

Have you nailed down any other details yet: dress? colors? wedding party?

Alright ladies, started insanity today! Just the warm up was exhausting!! I had been doing mostly Jillian Michaels workouts, but i was starting to get bored and needed a different kind of challenge. Congratulations!!! Where did you book?! It may vary from resort to resort, I put down a deposit, but I don't believe I'm charged for the actual wedding stuff until I meet with the wedding coordinator at the resort.... I may have to double check on that though...

Ugh the passive-aggressive BS is the worst! I had to deal with a bit of that in the beginning as well, though not to your extent. Both my parents as well as my FIs parents did the same thing of telling everyone to pack their bags and get ready for Mexico before I even picked a resort, and like you, complained once I said there's no way we're inviting all of their friends, and friend's friends, and 5th cousins etc.. I think everyone just gets so excited initially and forgets that its not about them. What worked for me was just sticking to my guns and saying "this is whose coming, that's it" over and over again. It's so annoying to have to deal with, but hopefully they'll eventually get it. And it is in no way your responsibility to contact the people that they already told to come, that's their mess that they created! Honestly, the guest list situation was the absolute worst part of the planning process. I don't think any single thing had made me so mad/resentful. Stick to your guns, give them some freedom to help plan the AHR, and start enjoying this whole engagement/wedding planning time!! Best of luck!! I'm always open for a good "venting" sesh, so let me know how things turn out

I also have always hated the way my makeup comes out when someone else does it, so your detailed makeup post will be so helpful for me this summer when I start trying out products to use on myself. Oooo evites are a good idea!! I think i'm going to look into somehow getting that on our wedding website. I would have died if I heard a BM say that lolol, whyyyy don't people get it? So far, I think I've decided to send out formal invites that include an information card (that includes how to book/ both via the website and our TA...in case people didn't understand with the STDs), as well as an RSVP postcard. I'm hoping that if people don't even have to lick an envelop or get postage that they return the darn things...fingers crossed.. Anyhow think i'm going to send them out in July with an Oct 1st deadline. That way I have two weeks to tally things up and get it to the resort wedding planner. I'm hoping that will also leave me time to figure out how many centerpieces,programs etc that I will need. I have yet to work on the attire details (BMs, GMs, MOB, etc), or anything else for that matter, maybe that will be next on the agenda. What about everyone else, have many of the smaller details down yet?
