  1. Has anyone tried to carry their dress on with air Canada? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. How about genuwines differences? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Or what about some kci and jojo. Not rap, kinda cheesy but fits. My ex loved tips but also loved kci and jojo - all my life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I love turning page - sleeping at last instrumental version. Also loving vitamins string quarters version of transatlanticism. I think our exit with be "season of love" by shiny toy guns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Number 1 is just a lot more than I was hoping to spend... Of course. Originally I only wanted to spend $1000, but was willing to go up a bit. This dress is $1750 without alterations. So at least $2k. I'm just having a hard time justifying for one day. That's really my only hold up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Only on the model! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I love the first one too. But is it too fancy for the beach? I'm going next weekend again to look but have to make a decision! The first one is a sophia tolli and they have a warehouse in canada with my size so I can order it and it will only take a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks! I tried on the wtoo but haven't tried on the essence. I'll try and find it to see if I can try it. I originally didn't any a satin so it actually may work out well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Not sure if that worked but those have been the three favorites since looking. The first is the most recent - it's above my $ range but I love it. May be too fancy though? The second I only have a picture of the back. It's a mikaella dress and the front is plain. The third was my first favorite - a mori lee dress. I love how light it is and actually liked the tulle. However the bottom may have too much poof. Three totally different dresses. You can tell I'm lost! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Stacey. I have the Gazebo and terrace book as well as Eva from photoshoots! I would love seeing photos if you want to share a few. [email protected] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Has anyone else returned from their wedding at now amber and have any tips/reviews?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm a Canadian bride as well and will say this: look at resorts you like and the wedding packages they offer. Get an image of what you want first, then contact an agent. The agent I worked with did not recommend any resorts we liked. Obviously they are professionals, and know which resorts are good to work with - but they are also incentivized and push certain ones. That's why I recommend defining in your mind first, what you want out of the resort. Prices were so much higher than I thought, and some resorts offer way better wedding packages than others. Some suppliers (like air canada, transat, westjet etc.) also offer their own incentives as well. We booked with air canada and receive "x" amount of free rooms if "x" ppl book. Your agent will help you choose the best supplier as well. I'm a travel professional myself so did a lot on my own first before contacting the agent we went with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I've tried on so many dresses over the course of 10 months and haven't found "the one". I'm getting married in November and running out of time fast. I'm getting so stressed but don't want to spend do much money on something I don't love. Help!! I love something form fitting, not too much detail, but a splash of bling ( like a belt?) and do not want to pay more than 1500. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm going to be bringing my 3 year old and 18 month old with me to my wedding in November. Are you brining a car seat? I may bring two light umbrella strollers for walking in town, but doubt we will use them otherwise. I'm really hoping the resort upgrades us to a 1 bedroom suite so we have somewhere to hang out once they go to sleep. We have a swim out room so I know we will have good outdoor space, but I really am hopeful fur the upgrade!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Calgary bride! Getting married at the now amber in pvr in November! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I always read what the bad things are that ppl say - most are petty complaints I find. If I see a whack of "we all got good poisoning, had bed bugs, got stolen from etc." then I worry. Otherwise, ppl love to compain! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Check out photoshoots vallarta - I'm getting married at the now amber in November, and have booked Eva Sica. Nothing buT excellent reviews!
  16. I have my group booked with romantic planet. They are AWFUL!!!! Do your self a Favor and do not book with them. Absolutely the worst. Unless you like waiting a month per rate request. They are full of excuses. Trust the bad reviews you read online.
  17. Please do - this seems very strange. How are the bride and groom supposed to both get ready - especially with enough room? I mean, we really want a master suite but to upgrade from our swim out room is obnoxious - like an additional $350/night. We will have to book a second room for that day I suppose?
  18. Really - no to the bridal suite? Doesn't it say it does on the list of inclusions?
  19. I'm getting married on November 10! we will be there at the same time. I've also hired photoshoots vallarta (Eva) and am so excited to work with them. We are having our ceremony at the gazebo and reception at la vista terrace.
  20. Does anyone have any pictures of the Terrace? Im now wondering if we should move our reception there vs having it on the pool deck which we have booked?
  21. I've booked the pool deck for reception and the gazebo as well - however I've seen a few photos of ceremony's in the Libby - with the amazing view. May be nice! If you haven't, search "now amber wedds" on Facebook. They have lots of pictures. We booked an outside photographer - photoshoots Vallarta. We got a great rate since we are getting married on a Monday. What is everyone doing for decor? I'm so undecided...
  22. That's pretty similar to what we are paying! It's $1705 per person, (tax incl) in oceanview jr suites, but we get every 6th room free with air Canada vacations. We were curious how much of a discount that will get us! We've booked a swim out suite and are curious what room we will get upgraded to! I really want a master suite and am hoping to negotiate a good upgrade rate! Make sure you write a good review! Let us know how it goes.
  23. I'm going from calgary! Out of curiosity, how much are you paying for your package (travel) this year?
  24. I'm planning mine! I'm getting married next November and so far it's been good! The "extra costs" seem to be adding up fast, and some things are unnecessarily expensive, but I'm really excited for it!
