    somertime - don't 2nd guess your choice. Your dress is gorgeous and it looks stunning on you. Just have it hemmed appropriately and have a gentleman on your arm when walking down the stairs. Your wedding is whatever you want it to be. And if that dress makes you happy, GO FOR IT!! Train and all!

    I thought so too! I may just get the hair done but do the makeup myself. I need all the help I can get with doing my hair. And.... sorry if this posts twice. I have no idea why all of a sudden this has started!

    The email for the spa is [email protected] They will send a price list. Hair and makeup is $210. $120 for hair and $90 for makeup. It includes a free trial and they won't discount the price if you don't want the trial. I already asked.

    So with only 142 days left to the wedding, I finally decided on a dress and ordered it today!! I don't have any pics of myself in the dress, but here's a pic of the model. So now I have to decide on jewelry. I'm thinking of BIG earrings and a bracelet. No necklace.

    Dana, thanks so much for your review! So happy that the rain stopped and didn't ruin your beach wedding. You looked absolutely gorgeous! Can I ask you what 'package' you went with? And how much you paid extra for the upgraded bouquet?

    I ordered my dress tonight!! I tried on dress #2 for the second time tonight and I just love it. So now I feel silly as I am posting this in the 'knock off' forum lol. Thanks again everyone for your input.

    I absolutely can't decide between 2 dresses, so I am looking to everyone for help!! I have tried both on and these are my final 2 contenders. I am running out of time as my wedding is in December. The picture below is a 2 piece gown that I can remove all but the fist top ruffle (Laura2013 inspired this one). I thought it would be great as I can take the bottom ruffles off for the dinner and party. I am reluctant because I am worried the dress may be a bit too 'young' for me. I am over 40 and this is my 2nd wedding and wanted to keep it simple. My 13 year old daughter has been shopping with me and she doesn't like it. I have gotten a quote from Betty Liu of Aliexpress and she can make it for $199. This next dress is a simple and extremely light-weight and totally what I had in mind when I first started the dress shopping process for my beach wedding. It is on sale at a local shop for $350 so I would just buy it locally and wouldn't have to stress about the whole process of ordering online and worrying what the final product may be once I get it....... Alright ladies... send in your votes!!!

    Thank you all very much for your input. I'm pretty sure I'll ask my Mom to do it. I'm sure if I didn't ask her to walk me down the aisle then I would regret it later on.

    Question for everyone.... Who is walking you down the aisle? My Dad passed away 10 years ago... Do I have my Mother walk me down the aisle or do I walk it myself? I have also considered having my fiance meet me at the start of the aisle and we walk the remainder together. This is a second wedding for the both of us so we aren't too concerned about doing things 'traditionally'. Thoughts??

    I also booked Chris Lee. I didn't want photos in my room so I asked if I could do the silver package for the ceremony and beach session instead and that was no problem.
