    I am giving one OOTB per room but we are giving a double-walled insulated cup to every person. So if a family is coming, their OOTB would have 5 cups in it but only 1 first aid kit for example.

    Allie, the dress is beautiful on its own. I think we all have a different opinion so you need to do what you like and the look that you're going for. The applique is nice but it pulls the eye down, but a gorgeous necklace will balance out the bling. I like the flower belt the best but it is a more simple look. Whatever you decide it will be beautiful. It's a great dress and compliments you wonderfully. Go for what YOU like best!!

    I was so worried driving to the shop to try on my dress that I was going to hate it and it would look terrible on me and then I would have to start shopping all over again. I have no dress regret! I still love it and it feels like it was made for me. I am a bit sad that the size 16 fit me and it didn't seem huge. I know this has a lot to do with the corset top. I'll have to have it altered a bit but mostly in length. I won't do the alterations until November. I'm going to ask for the leftover fabric back and I'm going to try and make a diy hair flower that I saw on this site.

    Just got the call my dress is in!!!! I go try it on tomorrow. I'm scared it's going to be HUGE. They had to order me a size 16 so it would fit my apparently larger-than-normal boobs.

    tyrebride2b2013 - I tried on about 20 dresses and went to 3 shops. The one I picked felt FABULOUS on but I didn't think it was the one because it was strapless and I didn't want strapless because I have broad shoulders and I kinda think I look like a Quarterback without straps... My daughter picked out the dress so I tried it on anyway. I had my daughter taking photos of me in the same pose with every dress I tried on. I wanted to be sure I looked as good in the pictures as I thought I did in the mirror. Anyway, turns out that I liked the way this dress looked in the pics and I knew it felt so great on so I went back to the shop the next weekend and tried on my favorite 2. That one dress that my daughter picked out just felt so right and looked so suitable for my laid back beach wedding yet I still looked and felt like a bride. I also waited to the last minute because I wanted to lose weight too but I got down to 6 months before and knew I had to do it. Apparently they can alter the dresses down 4 sizes, which would be about 40 pounds. So if you plan on losing between 0 - 40 pounds, you're safe to order your dress now. And if I had to pick one of your dresses.... I would say #3 from the ones Evknowsitall's post earlier on this page is my favourite one. I got a call my dress is in. I get to try it on tomorrow! YAY!

    I can't believe we're already through 1/2 the summer. Your day will come so quickly!! I just checked my countdown. Only 118 days to the wedding and still have many SLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW RSVP's to come in. Including a few family members... Very frustrating to try to plan. At least the people I want to be there, will be there. That's all that matters. I came to the resolution that I plan for the number that responded and if someone joins late, well they just don't get an OOT bag.

    O Melissa! Thank goodness you have a good attitude about your mistake! That sounds like something I would have done. I got my bags at Dollarama this past weekend, they were $2 each and they have a zipper on them. The sarongs sound like a nice touch, I will definitely have to check them out.

    dutchess - that cake is beautiful with the addition of orchids! Amazing what some beautiful flowers will do. Wonder what Tai Flora would charge for flowers for cakes?

How much pre-planning did you do? Or did you find a lot of planning can be left til you get there? Do you remember the name of the shop that did your hair? I'm sure there are lots of brides-to-be that would love to know. I was going to ask my TA to hunt down salons in the area as I find the resort and Rashel are too expensive for me.
