I asked my bridesmaids after they booked & I knew they were going. originally only wanted 3, but FI got ahead of me & asked his guys the days after we were engaged! & he asked 5! Needless to say I politely explained to him the delicate nature of wedding planning without consulting the bride first! But I loved his enthusiasm lol

My son will be holding the rings, but he don't want to carry a pillow or anything that is remotely girly! lol We compromised & agreed on "Ring Security" idea I had seen somewhere. He will be dressed like secret service agent and carry a security case with rings inside... this is no too light-hearted for a wedding is it? Thoughts anyone...

I have told people up front that unless they book through our TA or advise us when/how they are booked, I will assume you aren't going & there will not be a "seat at the table" for you. I got so sick of people b*tching about it that I never bring the wedding up around them. Some people have said they will book closer to the wedding date (trying to get last minute deals) so I explained that the hotel books up VERY quickly & they may not get a room. Also, I have to know by a certain date how many guests to make allowances for things like seating, oot bags, etc. it is extremely rude of them to think you can just squeeze them in at any time if they decide to go! Aaaaarrrhhhh

We are paying $1682 direct from NL in march/14- that's with the early booking bonus. Now it is $2183! That's the lowest I've seen so far apparently, MC just put their prices up last month again.

Is the magnet itself going to be a pic of you guys? How do you make the magnets... Just glue on pics over the magnet itself or do you have get the whole thing printed together professionally?

Don't tell anyone & let your wc know that it's secret. You can ask her to create a paper for you guys to sign to make it look official or some girls on here have photocopied their real marriage certificate (with dates & names cleared) & signed that at the ceremony. From what other brides tell me, nobody knows the difference!

Someone suggested that I should wear flats to the gazebo on the beach (where we are getting married) then take them off so your feet is in the sand in a shady spot. This way you can chose to slip them back on if necessary. I'm not sure about how that would look to guests though...
