    I didn't think the travel size would last very long, and I was mostly looking for something that wouldn't be too expensive. Avon has these on sale for $1.89 and they ship really cheaply to Canada (miracle!!!), and even cheaper if you have the name of a representative. I'm super happy with them.     Also, received my aloe from Avon last night and they are awesome!! Huge bottles for $1.89 and they ship for $4 if you have the number of a representative. Super pumped about them

    Found another Dollar Tree in the Edmonton area A child at the preschool I work at said there was one in St. Albert. I checked it out today and it DOES exist haha! It's located on St. Albert trail and Gervais. Happy shopping!

    Finally found hand sanitizer in small containers for a reasonable price! The more I thought about the large ones, the more I wanted to look for the smaller size. The bags are filling up fast and I need to keep in mind that we're having to pack them with us!! $1.25 for a 3 pack at Dollar Tree in St. Albert, AB

    I'm still deciding about ties!!! I always feel like my fiance looks like a salesman in a tie haha!! However, Le Chateau has one tie that matches perfectly. It's plain,with no pattern which I'm not sure I like. Look on Etsy though. They have tons! This is the one element I am still stuck on. I can't figure out what I want him to wear

    Yes, I've heard of the $14 per person to drink for a private function...but if you have a dinner with the group at one of the restaurants I don't think it should apply! I know I want to do a welcome dinner and they never mentioned this fee to me!! I was told 27 people would be at separate tables in the same area and it wouldn't cost anything extra. However, when I was discussing doing appys and drinks between the ceremony and reception they quoted me the $14 fee plus the price of apps. The $27 fee must be the fee per person OVER however many are included in the package you are going for. Which package is that by the way? I know that with my group of 27, we are paying $27 for 7 people, as the Mint Breeze only includes enough food for 20 people. It does add up fast doesn't it!!!!

    As for starting the process, I first booked with our travel agent...she held 30 seats on the plane/hotel rooms and was great about contacting everyone and keeping up to date on who owed what (meaning I didn't have to do a thing!!!) Then she gave me the hotel wedding planner's email and we have been emailing back and forth in steps about the wedding itself. Outside photographers ARE allowed. I just booked Claudia Rodriguez. She has great prices, her english is amazing and her photos are so gorgeous (check her out on here under vendor reviews). You have to either book 2 nights at one of the barcelo hotels OR pay $500...its usually cheaper to book the nights. I'm not getting a DJ and the hotel is doing my flowers ( they look amazing!). For outside makeup artists, the day pass is $75, so maybe the DJ is the same

    I'm getting married July 2013 and I'm using Claudia Rodriguez....check her out on this site. She has SOOOO many awesome reviews, is really easy to talk to (her English is amazing!) and her prices are decent as well We booked her two nights at the Barcelo Beach hotel for $300 instead of paying the $500 outside vendor fee.

    This is honestly the best thing I've ever done!!!! I bought mine 5 years ago and haven't looked back. It's great for light periods, heavy periods, helped with cramps, and you don't have to mess with it more than twice a day! I get up in the morning and wash it, then wash it before bed...it really doesn't get any easier than that. Plus I feel so much better that I'm not creating any waste with all the packaging that pads and tampons come in....so environmentally friendly!!!!

    I think we are going to just pack extra suitcases and try to get our families to pack some of the stuff for us. I couldn't stand the worry over shipping the stuff!!! What are other brides doing? I just assumed everyone took their stuff down with them in extra bags....

    This is one thing that definitely concerns me...on 'island time' is pretty much how things run in mexico from what I hear. That's all well and good if you're just on holiday, but that's the last thing a bride wants on her wedding day!!!! Did you find the timing was poor on anything else??
