I went to a wedding where the brides aunt had passed away from pancreatic cancer and instead of giving out favors on each persons plate there was a letter with a purple ribon (color symbolic forpancreatic cancer) saying there was a donation given in honor of her aunt. I thought it better than any small favor you could have recieved.

I love the idea of boudoir photos... Very intimate. I might do that and a nice pair of cuff links. Thanks for all the great ideas ladies

We got married just my husband and I with one of our best friends and his finace..we have been together 10 years and now with a daughter so to us marriage was just a piece of paper. I got married in flip flops and a sun dress it was the most amazing day of my life! In the end when your saying your vows to eachother its like no one is there anyway just the two of you! My family had a fit they were not involved in our day so we are having a small cruise wedding. But in the end you have to do what makes you happy and It was actually really nice we were on a vacation for a week when we got married and just the time alone, no one could ever take that time away.
