I think whether you want to spend a lot or a little its going to look beautiful, you're on a beach in Mexico, how could it not be!! -

We are going to make personalized luminarias and use a flamless candle in them as the centerpcs (that'll be simple to setup and drag from Texas). Then have the favors laid out at each seat, so it'll add some pizzazz to them. We are also going to hang up personalized papel picado in the terrace as well, just because they'll be free since my family makes them! I think the beach is enough for decor. I'm not going to spend money on decor that I can't even take home with us. (I respect brides that have done it, but not only are the prices RIDICULOUS - the pics and memories are going to be about the people that were there with us...not if we used off-white or ivory for our napkins!) What terrace are you planning on? and have you asked them how much to hang the papel picado or are you planning on doing it yourself? -

I think I'm going to leave the ceremony space the same an put my money toward the reception space. I think the complimentary ceremony is really beautiful the way it is. My only addition would be an isle runner but I don't think I'll do that. What are you planning? -

Well I booked my photographers based on them saying $98 for a day pass so I will flip if they try and change it. Really it just makes me mad that they can say absolutely no outside vendors, if they do that they better make sure theirs are amazing. They also wouldn't tell me prices till I booked. That's sneaky! Not that it's the end of the world just frustrating! -

I just heard back from my wedding coordinator up here and he was told now an outside dj is 800$ anyone else have this?? -
Thank you for all your help! so hard to choose and plan without seeing these places in person but I do think the Caribbean Terrace is the way we are going to go! now I just need to decide what I want to decorate it if anything, it is pretty just the way it is but there are so many pretty choices for decorations! I was hoping to order some Papel Picado to drape overhead just seems like that isnt exactly an option here!

Hey, I just booked Del Sol. They were surprisingly well priced for how amazing they are! If you really want them maybe try asking for a quote again!! I'm super excited to have them!! One more thing checked off my list too! -

:S thats what I was thinking, i just looooove their pictures. I suspected that they would be far beyond what I want to spend! Maybe I could get them for 30 min lol -
Thanks Ana, i was curious how long they are with you and found out all it is is the ceremony. Has anyone received a quote from Del Sol photography? I assume they are probably already booked for my wedding date but my fingers are crossed that they aren't and that maybe I an afford them! I'm just so anxious waiting to hear back from them!

I was planning on going with the pure package but after adding everything up I decided I was going to be paying so much money and the ceremony would look gorgeous but we will only be there 15-30 min. Its really the reception that I want to pop! So I've decided the complimentary ceremony is what I'm going to go with, since its still so beautiful, and then Ill get some of the collection tables to jazz up the reception! I find that way easier than choosing table, chairs, linens, chargers, center pieces ect. I just want to keep it as easy and as not confusing as possible! I am leaning towards the Caribbean Terrace for the reception but because i cant find too many pictures of it I am a little unsure of how or what to choose to decorate it! Kimberly- I was directed towards Marvin at http://www.mayafloral.com/ for flowers. His prices don't seem that bad to me... he quoted around $135.00 usd to $155.00 usd for bridal bouquet of local flowers and $50.00 to $70.00 usd for bridesmaid bouquets of local flowers. Compared to what we would pay where I am from these prices seemed awesome to me! -

HI Jen, I just picked up the phone and called Moon Palace just to get answers to some of the questions I have asked my wedding coordinator here to get from the resort and I never hear back. I was super surprised how easy and useful it was! I got all my questions answered easily in a 10 min phone call! For the photos she said that the Package A is only them taking photos at the ceremony, so 30min approx depending on your ceremony. Anything above that is an add on! Hope that helps!!
