@@LissaSou Hi! I totally understand how you feel, there's so much to choose from. I chose to get married at Azul Sensatori because of the size of the resort, awesome reviews on food, guests have raved about the great staff and my travel agent recommended it over many other resorts. The beach was an issue for me at first too... But all the pictures I've seen and feedback from past brides on this forum have assured me that the water looks clear and beautiful! Also, if you walk up the beach 5 minutes it's gorgeous and great for swimming. There's a reef out front of the resort so it can be a little rocky but not a huge issue. I initially looked at The Royal and Gran Porto Real too! But those resorts have a VERY public beach and that's personally not what I wanted. Although the beach itself is beautiful. Also I'm not sure if you've seen but Azul has the most breathtaking decor packages! Good luck! I'm leaving Tuesday for our wedding eekkk!! So excited

Yes it's coming up so quick! @@talicea7812 I'm having a trial hairstyle the night before and my hair done on my wedding day both at the Vassa Spa/ salon. A friend of mine is doing airbrush makeup for me and I'm just getting a gel manicure at home before we leave. I have not looked into these packages at all but looking at the menu online for the bridal packages, it looks like there are 4 different ones. They all include your right to the bridal suite and small finger foods. The one package includes hair, makeup, facial and massage. The other 3 are different types of massages. Thanks for sharing! @@murmel That's too funny because I actually purchased the Pure Glamour package which it looks like they are using the chairs/ sashes from that package. It really does look beautiful! I love the new plaza it looks more modern. I also like the open roof so we can dance under the stars Ah this just makes me so excited to leave next week!!

@@rvalenka we are going there for our honeymoon in 2 weeks! I am SO excited. One of my friends got married there last year and it was AMAZING! I can not wait. You will not be disappointed - Maroma beach is one of the top 10 beaches in the world If we didn't have 2 kids coming to our wedding, we would be getting married there as well. But, as far as criteria we needed a family friendly resort, all-inclusive, warm weather and a beautiful beach. We started out looking into Bora Bora and ended up with the Riveria Maya lol we were all over the place - so many options! My FI's mom actually found our resort for us which is the Azul Sensatori. Also, I searched and searched on TripAdvisor for the longest time because I rely heavily on reviews.

My FI is wearing either a dark gray suit or a light gray suit. He ended up purchasing 2 at Mens Warehouse. He only has 2 black suits so he needed a couple more which will be nice considering we have a wedding EVERY weekend this July! We'll have to pick one here soon.. I think the dark gray will look nice because my dad is wearing a darker suit.

I am obsessed with starfish! Lol so many great ideas on here... I incorporated some starfish into the decor so I'm excited to see how it all comes together!

Love the seashell signing, how unique! I ended up creating a guest signing book on Shutterfly with a bunch of pictures of my FI and I throughout the years as well as some of our engagement pictures. It turned out pretty great actually, I was impressed with the quality and how clear the pictures came out (considering not all were high resolution). It's a nice hard bound one like a coffee table book.

Those are absolutely adorable! We just got our place cards and table number cards in the mail today. So exciting!!

Absolutely create a registry! I received thoughtful gifts from co-workers and people who weren't even invited to my wedding. I was SO surprised and it was such a nice gesture from people. I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and Pottery Barn. By the way, you will LOVE Turks and Caicos! I was just there last year with my mom for a girls getaway Most beautiful beaches and water I have ever seen. We stayed at the Reagant Palms.

I got ours from Michaels - they are plain white and better quality than ones I found at the dollar store. They came in packs of 13 and I paid $6. I also got labels with turquoise palm trees, our names and wedding date to put on them. I then purchased turquoise tissue paper from Target to make them more polished looking.

We went to Target and got a JBL portable speaker for our cocktail hour. I think we paid either $100-150. The sound quality is amazing and we use it at home all the time!

Honestly, one of two things happens... Either I don't remember to actually take the favor home with me, or sometimes sad to say they go in the trash a few days later. It's such a waste in my opinion. I love when couples make a donation to their favorite charities in lieu of favors. We aren't doing favors just OOT bags. After our reception we're continuing the party at one of the bars, so I highly doubt people will want to carry their wedding favor around.

We are staying at an AI resort, and depending on the room you want the rates I received from my TA are either $727 or $627 for 3 nights, and each additional night is either $229 or $189. We have people flying to Cancun from all over the states (PA, NJ, FL, AL, NY, RI, VT) so I'm not sure what some of our guests paid for airfare. But for my FI and I as well as our parents flights were $538 roundtrip each from Philadelphia to Cancun.

We ended up spending about $20k for everything. The major costs were the rooms (including our honeymoon) which were $7k so almost half of that amount.
