my fiance and I get into little arguments here n there as well.....i think that's perfectly normal....I feel as though he's not putting "enough"effort or time into he wedding....but then my girlfriends are like "you REALLY want him picking flowers? or shades or blue for decor? that's not a GUY thing so dont expect him to be THAT involved" ....which is true.....wedding planning is what all (if not, most ) girls look forward to......i know it's been exciting for me....and sometimes i DONT want his opinion....i choose...i show him...he nods yes....and if he nods no, i will tell him allllll the reasons why it should be a YES! lol....he's easy going...there are some things that he wants specifically and he won't settle for anything else, so i've made sure to take that into account. But yah...i'd say have a date night...reconnect and re-discover WHY it is that you agreed to marry him in the first place.....Have a "no wedding talk" day...and just go back to the couple that you were pre-engagement

how many of you past brides booked your hair /make up at the spa BEFORE your wedding (as in, before you even flew to Punta Cana)?? I know they say to book in advance...and there's that 50% deposit...but I am just wondering if the spa is REALLY THAT busy.....I want to risk it and just book the appointment once we get to the hotel or a day after we land but i also don't wanna be left without my hair done or make up....I just don't feel comfortable with sending money so early on....

I believe Georges (from Photoshop Caribe) has sent me a video sample....if you want, i could forward it to you if you send me your email address and ya...that option of having them stay over night at the hotel is one way around the fee but that all depends on which night and if the photo/video company agrees to stay the night. good luck!

i am bringing my own photographer from home, but i have yet to find a videographer. I think i will end up hiring photoshop caribe in the end...I also wanted Caribbean Emotions but Carolina said there would be a $500 vendor fee...on top of C.E's service fees.

same here! I bought the double wall clear tumblers at Dollarama for $2 each....Dollar Tree has the same ones but the straw is a different quality i think :S....and I got super sticky waterproof adhesive lables from a print shop downtown Toronto.....I was quoted $50 for 50 of them I believe...and somehow ended up with more than 50...so score! they stick pretty good too..just haven't tried them out with water..yet.

1st marriage: i ordered my dress in Late March...and it just arrived early August, my wedding is in November.....because i had to order a smaller dress than what they had on the rack. thankfully no alterations have to be done...besides the applique i want which isn't a big deal. Good luck!

any PAST brides reading this....Has anyone used pastor York or any pastor at the GPPC?? If so, did the hotel charge you any "vendor fee" for this? did you go through the hotel or email the pastor directly?? And how much (if you don't mind sayin) did you pay for their ceremony services?
