In its most basic definition an apostille is a confirmation of a foreign document, similar to our notarizations. Check with your state to see if they can do this for you. I was born in Georgia and they have a process for getting it done that isn't crazy expensive like some places I have heard about. Also, my FI is from Texas and the cost is very reasonable through them as well. The information for Georgia was easy to find on the Department of Vital Statistics website but I found the info for Texas in a random FAQ page so you may need to check around. I don't know if this service is available in all states, just the two I looked at but it might be worth checking. Good luck!!

Does anyone know if the resort will let you personalize the cake if you bring the items? I know the package comes with a basic cake and I would like to 'bling' it up a bit and put a topper on it but am not sure if I can do that. Has anyone looked into this?

I want to bring my bouquet back to have it preserved but am concerned about how to get it home in one piece (un-squashed preferably) and as fresh as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to do this?

Hello everyone, Finally got my booking confirmation for October 2013! Am so excited! Does anyone know how hard it is to request a certain location for the ceremony? I want the gazebo but am afraid they will put us somewhere else. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Everyone, I want to get married at HR Punta Cana and have filled out the proposal form online but I haven't heard back from the resort. How long does it usually take to hear back from them to start the process?
