All of these reviews are making me sick to my stomach...we have our wedding there January 3rd and about 30 people as part of our group I really hope it all works out and our guests have a great experience. They are all paying a lot of money to be with us!

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are headed to Puerto Vallarta next week to see the Dreams resort and to meet with our wedding planner (I've sent emails to Eleane, but Fatima has also been involved?). Our wedding is still about 6 months out, but we were wanting to have better vision of what the resort looks like before making final decisions. Has anyone else done a visit before? Any advice of what we should be prepared to do or what we can do while we're there? We haven't booked any outside vendors, but I'm prepared to if needed! I don't know if we'll be able to do it all while we're there for just a couple days though. Some questions we have/decisions to make: Finalize ceremony and reception locations Flowers-add to package? (we have the dreams ultimate package) Decorations-need to make/bring? Hire? Are they needed? Hair/makeup-trial run?? Bonfire/welcome party? Menu-buffet or plated? Can we do any tastings? Cake flavor-tastings? Excursions for guests-costs and options Music situation-DJ, mariachi, music for ceremony Rehearsal? Is it necessary? Thanks for any advice or ideas you have to share! At the very least, we have a great excuse to take an extra little vacation this summer

I'm just getting to know the site but I would love any advice or direction for where to go for help for some of my initial questions: Cabo San Lucas or Puerto Vallarta in December?
