I am selling a Maggie Sottero "Geneva" wedding dress in Ivory/Mocha. This dress is a size 4 with alterations made, it was worn once in August 2011. Dress was purchased at Bridal Debut in Sherwood Park. It is a Slim A-line, strapless gown with dipped neckline and corset closure. Mikado flowers artfully provide dimension at the banded natural waist and throughout the slim A-line skirt. I also have a ivory veil available which has small flower detailing along the edge which matches perfectly with the dress. I paid $1400 for the dress, $300 in alterations. A bustle was added to the dress along with cups for the bust. Had anyone had their dress taken out? I may need an inch on each side or a panel added to my corset back ..or lose the weight. haha. So do you all recommended giving it a shot at losing the weight first before altering? Or how long should I wait before I go get an estimate for the alterations?
