I contacted a few travel agents and all of them have higher rates than online. So i asked the quests to book hotels via orbitz, bookit, travelocity or hotel Barcelo website directly. Having all the guests get their trips on their own made it so much easier for me and my fiance!

The dance floor is expensive and I am thinking of having the natural dance floor, just the sand. I told the guests that shoes are only required if it rains and we are moved to the ball room.

I asked for the reception on the beach but they told me i will not pay anything extra to have it on the beach (i will reconfirm though). Adding lights to the reception is additional $2,000? This is outrageous!

Hello, I don't have anyone in my wedding who i would like/or who would want to act as MC. So, i would like to hire a local MC. Does anyone have any feedback? Are local MCs good and do they speak good enough English? They are somewhat expensive but i think it might be worth to pay. Thank for all of the posts!!!!!

Hello, this site has been so helpful in planning a wedding!!! Thank you everyone for sharing! Our WC, Lianny, has not been responding to me and someone else by the name of Helen responds to my emails by with 1-2 weeks delay. We have reserved the strawberry package with the ceremony and the reception on the beach but in case of rain they will move us to the ballroom. Does anyone have any pictures of the ballroom? Are the ballrooms more like tents or complete indoor spaces? I really want to have fresh air for both events and not sure what to do in case of rain. I would appreciate your recommendations!
