    Hello Brides! We are getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in July and we are deciding between Secrets Silversands, El Dorado Royale, or Excellence Riviera for our honeymoon after the Barcelo. Can anyone provide some insight if you have been to any of these resorts? Thanks!

    Hello past and new brides... Has anyone dealt with Xhail? It has been about 6 weeks since her last email to me and I have emailed her numerous times asking questions. Another question I have.. I was sent pictures of the flower options. Are these options just for the bridal bouquet or the bridesmaids bouquets as well? Thanks in advance!

    Hello Brides, My wedding coordinator Xhail is asking me if I have a seating plan.. Do we need to bring a master seating plan or do they do that? I am just wondering because she is asking for all the names.

    Ordered my dress! They told me it will take 6 months to come in and they like to start alterations 4 months prior. I had no idea it took so long!

    Yes I am! I am not exactly how my TA was able to do it, but she was able to get us rates back in February! She worked with Air Canada Vacations as well as the resort to find us the best deal. Our guests have just put deposits down so far- they are due July 15. Everyone was very good about it being so early because of the great rate we are getting. Flights should be out very shortly if they are not already. My TA told me that a year ahead they should all be out. Happy Planning!

    You can put your wedding date on hold without your room booked then once you book your room your wedding date is actually reserved.

    Yay July 2014 Brides! I booked my wedding for July 1 2014 at the Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe. So far: - booked our date with the resort - chose our wedding package - chose our wedding party - invited our guests (via email due to the short notice for our GREAT group rate) - most guests have put deposits down - booked our trip! I have found that choosing the resort was the hardest part but I am so relieved to have found one!

    Hello, Can anyone tell me if buffet is an option for the reception dinner? We will probably have about 40 people and I do not like the menu options for the eternity of divine packages. I understand you have to do buffet for 50 people or more but we would like to do it anyways! Thanks!

    Hello, I am thinking about having my wedding in July 2014 at either Now Jade or Barcelo Maya Palace. I am very skeptical because of the weather.. the heat, rain, and risk of hurricanes especially. Can anyone please provide input if you have been there in July! Thanks:)

    Hello, I am planning on getting married here in 2014. It looks like a beautiful place with beautiful weddings. One thing I am wondering about is group rates. Can anyone tell me how much it ended up costing each of their guests after group discounts were applied? All our guests would be coming from Toronto Canada. Thanks!
