I emailed thomson asking why we had not been contacted for the documents and was told it was still too early jenny did u get you legal docs sorted what did u need in the end? i booked my date in with my cake maker on friday just for our at home party just having quite plane one done and their cake tastes fab!!! i got my sample invitation through love love it just sending them to those who are coming so its more of a keepsake really just need to sort documents out when thomson get in touch if they ever do dont think they have done 1 thing they were supposed to yet!!! vic xx

hi ive not had an email off them requesting our documents yet! i know a copy of a birth certificate is fine as long as its the long version do you mind me asking how much it is for your solicitor to do the certified copies i havent a clue so want to brace myself ha ha i keep thinking the same get christmas done and its here!!!!

wow ur coming my neck of the woods for you hen do!! i love the idea of having a party at your house and i would love to do that however we live ina small flat that is no where near big enough and dont feel comfortable asking anyone if i could have it at thers i would live that tho how long are you going gp for? how long are u there before the wedding? xx

well hen night now there is a dilemma ive no clue what to do dont want to go away anywhere as i feel quite a few are already paying a lot to come away with us so i couldnt ask them to pay out again its hard trying to think of something to suit everybody ive got family mixed ages! work friends again mixed ages by best friends who know me the best and who cant make the wedding and my bridesmaids who are in their early 20s and just want a piss up im totally over the lets just go to town and get pissed thing (been doing that 2 long ha ha) would love like a cocktail making class or murder mystery evening but my bridesmaids have said i have to leave it up to them!! vic xx

ha ha its really hard picking 1 song!! im the same with the invites only going out to people coming im prob not sending them out untill january though an figure anyone coming will have booked by then although i dont think anyone else is going to book now i dont think there is much else i can do right now except get it paid off ha ha not untill about nov when i need to do the legal stuff invitations sort the numbers for our at home party and get my underwear and shoes xxx

my plan seems pretty much the same as yours! great minds!!! our wedding is 12th april 4pm on the beach I ordered my fans yesterday yay going to get my invitations made i only need about 10 so dont mind paying for them the invitations for our party at home im doing myself which restaurant did you pick? my mil is really fussy with food only eats really plane food so dont know weather to accomodate her or pick where we would like where did you get the menus from? as for songs i dont really like ub40 we are thinking jason mraz im yours at the min xxxxxxx

hi ladies sorry for not being on lately i got a new tablet and it wont let me log on no matter how many times i try the password reset so having to use the ancient laptop ha ha anyway i got measured up for my dress last Sunday and it was put on order Monday along with the bridesmaid dresses and my headdress excited!!! we booked a band for our party back home this week so just have to decide on a first dance song so they can learn it any suggestions? i don't want anything too slow we are going to book into one of the al a cartes not sure which one tho have you had much contact with resort i had an email ages ago stating that they would be in touch 3 months before to arrange things don't want to wait and miss out on things if you can get in touch now! my colour is turquoise and my bridesmaids (2 of them) are having fans that we are customizing ourselves I'm going to get fans for the guests on the beach that you can personalize so will double as favors i read on her if you book one of the al a cartes they charge you for decorating the table anyone else heard this? after the meal we are just going to get drinks go to the beach do some speeches and set off some lanterns xx im with you yvonne on the laid back wedding island style!!!!! if anyone wants to add me on facebook please do so its much easyer me getting on that now ha ha its vicki Brocklehurst xxxxxx

hi everyone we booked true colors a few weeks ago got a wedding and video package got a little discount too it did take them a month to take the payment for the deposit bit thats jamaicans for you am getting measured up for my dress in a couple of weeks so it will be put on order then along with the bridesmaids dresses yay xxxx

weve just gone with the basic sapphire wanted it simple and just thought we could add on extras we wanted yes thanks it makes perfect sense we wont be able to do that tho we are getting married on the beach then just going to book onto one of the restaurants for a meal the private receptions work out soooo expensive thanks for your help xxxx

i know ours was 9 months yesterday it took thomson ages to send our pack and confirm date (we have had loads of probs with them) when it comes its very basic just full of tips really the get the extras list direct from the hotel their email address is in the pack and just to warn you it takes the hotel ages to reply to emails i was told this before i emailed them so was prepared apparently its because they are so busy with the weddings they have there they catch up with emails when they can. you get assigned a wedding co ordinator 2 months prior to the wedding to start arrangements and untill then its hard to really sort anything with them you kind of just have to wait hope some of this helps vic xx
