I've looked at both but in love with Brian's work. In talks with him right now. His prices are pretty decent and his work is amazing. Soon as I saw it I was in love. So just gonna get my FI to look thru them all. But in the end I'm pretty sure I'm going with Brian I can't stop looking at his pics.

Revd confirmation today FRm Keisha that the Disco is mine 2 hours prior to it opening That way we can do our first dance and father/daughter mother/son dance and ppl can mingle before the disco opens. The only thing left to do now is to put a deposit for a photographer and then get my dress, which I already know what it is and then its sit back and wait

Aww IM so sorry to hear that!!! I know what you mean. Everyone has been asking us for years where/when we were getting married. We told them numerous times, its going to be a destination wedding when it does happen. So they have had fair warning! smh. My grandparents cant make it, my grandpa is 92 and grandma is older too, and my grandma on my moms side doesnt leave canada. Unforotunately its a sacrafice which sucks, but Im bringing her dress shopping and ill have someone record it for her. Its difficult for my parents but they are figuring it out, and ill probably help them in the end. Maybe something will change their mind and they will end up coming. So sorry

i KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! I got engaged This december. And now getting Married in Jan. I didnt want to wait almost 2 years. Because I want to have a baby soon. And Im lame. Wanna be married before that! If a baby came first i wouldnt complain though!! . But I have only like 10 months! and have to save a bunch of money by then! eeek!! And I am in a wedding in August too! SMH im crazy!

AWESOME! thanks for that info! we are now considering montego bay also. As thats where we have to catch our flight on the monday back. We dont know what our times are yet for any of that as its too far awayy. I will definetly check that resort out. Im hoping that some of our hotel fees can be discounted a bit if we get 16 ppl to book for the wedding. that will help a little bit, and every bit helps! Today is my research day on Resorts in Montego bay. My TA got us a pretty good rate for the RIU in negril, which is still an option if we dont find anything we like. Always wanted to stay in NEGRIL for the 7 mile beach. I love the sand and water. But im sure Montego Bay is beautiful as well. I wonder if our credit card points can go towards a Hotel rather then a flight. Hmmm something to check into! We havent decided if we are going to use the TA for the second week or not. I love her but if i can find something cheaper I would def go with that. Was that sandals for all inclusive? or do you have to pay for drinks/food extra? Your big day is coming up soon! Cant wait to hear how it goes and any advice/pics you wanna share!

So basically no to round tables at the mammee resturant. Only if you are doing something at the pool deck or beach??? And I am assuming she means we can seperate the square tables .... But it would still be in a T formation, just not one long table. Hmm I am going to try emailing her in a few months about it since my wedding isnt until January, but I wanted to order table runners, and that depends on the size and shape of the table. thank you I am proud. Now its just to get the last 10-20 off. I have maintained for about a year but not losing, Granted I havent been exercising as much. I know what the issue is I just have to fix it. So Spring is coming and time to get in gear! It is a lot of hard work and dedication! so if anyone needs help or questions Im here

i just have the email address. Also if you go to their website and email them they will email you back pretty much right away if not the next day. As for the tables there are a few of us waiting to hear that answer. lol I dont think there is a extra cost for round tables. Its just a matter of space is what Im guessing. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Im getting married there In January, it seems far away,but I can feel it already creeping up!

that would be awesome. Is the pool deck anymore in price then renting the disco for the 2 hours prior? I just want some where for ppl to go for a bit as a group But dont want it to be too pricey. I know with the disco the dj/bar/booze etc is included and it is like 500-600 for that. If the pool deck was the same I would consider that as well. Keisha has been pretty good with emailing me back even though my wedding is over 9 months away. I try not to bombard her and keep things good lol dont want to have trouble like other brides have. So far so good though. Are you upgrading your cake?

Fi and his parents dont like the one long table Idea, Neither do I but I was just going with the flow of that because it wasnt a deal breaker. But now I kinda would prefer the round tables. Def dont want to spend more money then I have to as I probably will rent the disco 2 hours prior to it opening for "dances" and speechs and what not. Exciting but stressfull all at the same time!

Oh! thats excellent. Mine is so far away EVEN though at the same time its not that far! I hear the mammee bay resturant is the nicest. I havent been able to see any pictures of the other ones they offer. Thats good news that we are able to use round tables. I dont think we will have that manyppl. Maybe 30 at the most. If you can keep me up to date in november when you have your wedding on what you went with and maybe some pics? that would be great.

So I know that the Marmee resturant is what is generally given if you are having the "free" package, but I was wondering if anyone knows if you can have one of the other resturants and have round tables or are those considerd the "private" receptions and cost more? My fi and his parents are just concerned about the One long table thing. I didnt find it a big issue but I think they would prefer the round tables and then the traditional wedding party at one long table so everyone can see.

I have a email from Keisha saying that we can use either TAI or Jans flowers now. So there is no vendor fee for the flowers anymore if you use either of them

My travel agent tried to get her to wave 1 day so I could have it on the 8th but they said no. Hopefully it works out for you, but im guessing she will says that 2 day rule applies. I wonder why the disco is closed on tuesdays. Why is tuesday a day that it would be closed.. Makes no sense. Right now im trying to figure out if i want to do something for 2 hrs before the disco opens. Waiting to hear back from her on if its available on my day. She responded to one of my emails about the cake. I asked how much to get some deco on it or a different cake and it was 350. THE 350 cake is nice, but really dont wanna spend that. I think im going to keep the cake thats included and just get my SIL to dress it up with flowers and what not and some colour. Anyone know how much it is for white chair covers for dinner?

As far as I know. The thursday wont count. The friday will and then you would have to wait til tuesday. as the saturday and sunday do not count. I had to change my whole week that I wanted to go . Originally wanted to have the ceremony Jan 8 2014 but Because we would be arriving on a monday that day didnt count and we would have to wait until the 9th, so because the 13-20 worked better for other guests and couldnt have my day i wanted We just switched it.

Has anyone contacted the resort to see if they can get a free upgrade? Currently we are in the ocean view room which is upgraded already in our package, but was wondering if anyone got upgrades to a suite or anything else for free? compliments of the hotel or by emailing them?

Anybody staying for 2 weeks in Jamaica? We are going to stay two weeks but we are going to do our second week in Negril. We were looking at a adults only but its pretty pricey. Might just end up at the Riu Negril for the second week. But debating if we should wait last minute to book that and not do it through our TA. Any body book their second week on their own?

I think I saw that as well, and im not paying for a private reception to have round tables.. lol That isnt a deal breaker for me. Maybe for my fi parents but they are jamaican. they should just go with the flow lol
