Did you get a pure white dress or opt for ivory? I didn't buy my dress yet (I'm actually going to a trunk show this weekend) but I was leaning more towards a white dress. Everything there is white, clean and modern but I thinnk Ivory will look great, if you are in love with your dress I wouldn't change it.

I've been to Le Blanc 3 times and its amazing we fell in love with it back in 2009 and knew that's where we would get married. I have so much information and took so many pictures on our last visit i'll post them later so you can see locations and real pictures. Who is your wedding planner and wedding coordinator? The reivews don't lie you picked the right place. It can be pricey but you can use your resort credits to help pay for the wedding and they have great incentives if you book a lot of people. How many people are you expecting?

Yeah the $800 outside vendor fee is kinda nuts but if you can get a good deal with Sascha Gluck then it may be worth it. Del Sol is a big part of our budget but we just love their work and LeBlanc will only charge us the day pass fee for them instead of the $800 outside vendor fee because they have worked with LeBlanc so much in the past. If I had to pay the fee I dont' think I could do it that would be $500 more on top of Del Sol's price.

We will hopefully book them soon. Photography is very important to my fiance and I so we chose to look outside the resort. I've read mixed reviews on the resort photographers you can read them on here I believe they are called Ocean Photo Studio. Just a tip if you go with an outside photopragher there is an outside vendor fee which is $800.00.

I'll have to take a look on etsy for veils. I love etsy but never though to look for veils on there. Thanks for the tip!

All I am asking for is confirmation of our onsite meeting, which is supposed to be MONDAY. Losing confidence... On a brighter note, I found a webcam that sits on top of Beach Palace. http://www.webcamsdemexico.com/webcam-cancun.html Do you have his email or number I would try to get that info from Marisol and then reach out to him yourself. Sometimes you have to be very persisitant with the cooridnators/planners. I am and I have all my contacts info, my wedding planner and onsite coordinator are always in contact with me and i'm 11 months until my wedding. Keep trying i'm sure he's just busy with other weddings happening it takes some time for them to get back to you or to contact you but once you are there you will be well taken care of. Your wedding will be great.....so exciting!!

The combination of the white and yellow gold makes it beautiful to me. very nice and very special to be able to use your grandma's ring.

The one thing i will say about the seller though it did take about a month to get the holder. She does specify this in her shipping notes so I knew it was going to take a while and I wasn't in any rush.
  12. I'm really loving Etsy lately here are some of the great finds I found at great prices. I might need to stay away from Etsy for a while so I don't buy everything I like. Monogramed necklace with wedding date on the back I think it was around $22.00. This is the personalized card I gave to my bridesmaids. This is a sample of what my welcome bags are going to be. It was only $7.00 and works perfectly with my wedding colors. These are two ring holders that I got monogramed and the one below has our wedding date. These were around $15.00 each.

This Allure gown fit me to the T and hugged me in the right places, even my hips which look fabulous in the dress. I cannot wait for the dress to arrive and will post pics with me in it I really love this style....can't wait to start trying on dresses.

  15. I'm sure you will be busy doing hair and makeup and getting ready so its possible to be separate from each other the day of. I plan on not seeing each other so we can keep this one tradition. You'll just have to try a little harder to stay apart have your friends and family make sure you don't run into eachother. It'll be worth it in the end to see your fiance's face when you finally see him down the aisle.

I had my hair and makeup done at Leblanc (for my engagement pictures and as a trial) which is a palace resort and everything came out great. Definitely bring a picture of what you want and they can make it happen. But just remember that if you are having a lot of people doing hair and makeup to make your appointment early so they have enough people at the salon for your wedding. That's what the stylist told me to do since if they don't enough stylist they have to bring them in from other palace resorts. Also remember that you can use your resort credits on hair and makeup that is a big help.
  17. These questions came in handy when I went to meet my wedding coordinator this past weekend. If you have the chance to go on a site visit I highly recommend it. We got to not only meet our planner but pick out locations and do a food/cake tasting. Before we went to do the site visit we had planned to have the wedding at the gazebo of the hotel and go with he complimentary package with our own add ons. After our visit we have decided to change the location to on the beach and to upgrade to one of the wedding packages and we picked our food and cake. It was a great trip and I'm now more confident in my decisions moving forward.
  18. I got lucky with my invites I actually won a contest for free invites on magnetstreet.com so I just need to pick them out and customize them I'll be ordering them in Nov. I won't mail them out until Jan or Feb. though. So exciting!

  20. I decided to try Invisalign after years of wanting to fix my teeth. When I started wedding planning it finally gave me the push to get them. I wore braces as a teen but like most teens did not wear my retainers after and a lot of my teeth shifted. Luckily my insurance covered some of the treatment and the rest I can pay in installments. I just put in my first tray yesterday and my teeth definatley have discomfort but that just means its working. I only have to wear them for 6 months - 13 trays so I'll be done way before the wedding. Can't wait to see the final results I hope its as positive as lot of the brides on this thread because its definately an investment.
  21. Oh how cool I work in Morristown too. I see you are geting married in Punta Cana I went there on vacation a couple of years ago and the beach was gorgeous. Hope the planning is going smooth.
