Question .... How much are your guests paying for their trip to Gran Caribe Real or The Royal? With or without airfare and from where ??

Hello everyone ! I am on a vacation right now staying at the gran Caribe Real in Cancun. Met with the wedding coordinator for this resort and the sister resort beside which is the Royal Cancun. We got a lot of questions answered and were able to see two weddings and two special events happen so far We still have not chosen our resort nor a date but wanting February 2014. I was debating on whether to hire a wedding coordinator plus travel agent combo company such as Blue Petal however am not sure. I may just hire a local travel agent from home and communicate directly with the resort I choose for wedding details. How is everyone finding the pricing for winter 2014. The TA from my home town said rates won't be available until after my vacation. So we will have to see. What is everyone considering for price point for their guests ?? Very excited to begin all the planning but NEED TO CHOOSE A RESORT !!!!

I have done some research and have talked to some companies however like you I feel as though they are not living up to my expectations. I think I may just speak with a TA from my town and have them help me with travel arrangements then once I choose my resort I will just independently communicate with the resort to sort out all details. Plus with all the info and advise we get from this forum I think I will be able to get everything done I just find that until I know the rates for 2014 and choose a resort, not much else can get started My FI and I are going to Mexico Feb 6-13 this year to look at some resorts and see what they have to offer Lets keep in touch !! Looking for a recommendation for a TA please

Looking for past or present brides who are currently working with Blue Petal Wedding Coordinators/TA. I am thinking about hiring them as I have no idea how to plan a destination wedding. What are your thoughts ???

Going on a vacation to Cancun Mexico early this February and wanting to not only consider the resort we will be vacationing at (Gran Caribe Real) however would like to visit at least three other resorts (have not decided on which ones ). Seeking advise on what to ask during a site visit and also any recommendations for other site visits Thank you
