CONGRATS!! I am currently emailing with the resort now and hopefully will be booked for April 12, 2014! I am looking into the ceremony at the Pergola and the recepion at the Bamboo room. I have seen so many pictures of each of the rooms... it was love at first sight!! Well cant wait to see how everything turns out!!! -
Any other 2014 brides here getting an early start?

Well I am going for an April 2014 wedding!!! So I began my research (thanks to this wonderful website!) in December 2012 and was 100% set on Barcelo Maya Palace... and after doing a little more research and posting on forums one of our wonderful members suggested i look into the NOW resorts... and oh boy i fell in love with NOW Jade! So I emailed them and within 4 days i recieved a reply- so I will hopefully be booked for April 12, 2014 by the end of this week! CONGRATS TO ALL THE LADIES!!! -
Sure send it to me. I'd love to seen them! So I looked into NOW Sapphire and it's more affordable than Barcelo and then I stumbled into NOW Jade and I loved it!

Thanks Jenny!!! a congrats to you as well!!!! I actually decided on Barcelo Maya Palace! I'm still looking around for vendors! BTW do you know what photographer you may using... i have a clear budget in my head but some of the photographers I'm interested in are so expensive, they cost more than the wedding package lol... so idk def need to do more research on my part i guess.

No... No... I will def take a look at Now Sapphire, thank you so much for the input. I was actually about to just book the date at least with Barcelo Maya but I emailed them a week and a half ago and still have yet to hear from them. I now I am extremely early in the planning lol but I really want to have it booked at least because I'm also looking into photography too!! BTW do you know who will be taking your pics???

How long did it take you to get a response?? I am getting nervous about booking my date lol.

Would you mind sending me the steps you recieved too!! i would love to have an idea of whats to come!!! [email protected] I am still trying to get a hold of a WC from the resort. I know that i am WAY ahead of the game here since its not till April 2014, but I want to make sure I can book early to have an overall clear idea for budgeting and extra goodies!

Hi! I actually emailed the resort about 1 week and a half ago with a couple of questions and I wanted to book the date as well... how long did it take for anyone to reach to you after the initial email?? My wedding date (fingers crossed) is for April 12, 2014. I know its early but I'm looking into atleast booking the photographer ahead of time as well. And not to mention I am itching to send my Save the Dates already lol!!! I guess it bride over excitement on my point lol!!!

Hi ladies!! Well I chose Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe as well (i fell in love with the Gazebo) and I'm going towards the strawberry package... But it can change depending on the guest. So I have a question how long did it take you all to receive a reply from a wedding coordinator at the resort. I emailed them a week ago with a list of questions and have yet to receive a reply...

Hi Everyone!!! Well after a year of being engaged we finally decided on a destination wedding!!! While beginning my research I stumbled on this website & have fell in love! So we decided on Mexico... Now this is where I'm running into issues, I'm not sure if I should go with: :eek: option 1: Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe Or Option 2: Dreams Puerto Vallarta HELP!!! I'm really weighing out prices, what comes in their packages, & a PERFECT WEDDING lol!!! Well I would absolutely appreciate the feedback and help ladies!!! & to all the brides to be CONGRATULATIONS!!
