    Hi Everyone! So I tried searching a forum for NOW Jade brides getting married in May 2014 and I found nothing! lol So decided to create one just to share our ideas, plans, questions, and more!! I recently booked for May 31, 2014 (cut it close lol) and will be getting married at the Pergola and having my reception at the Bamboo Room. Well hope to hear from all the May brides!!!     I'm starting P90X on Monday! I just ordered it this week, I have done it before but gave up after 4 weeks, this time I'm def determined to get it done & look awesome for my wedding next year! Ill try to keep consistent on here! :cool:

    ohhhh ok. The sounds more realistic... i read somewhere on the thread one of the girls mention $350!! lol thanks for clearing that up thought!

    WOW that isnt bad compared to the $350 per centerpiece from the resort. & yes i totally understand not wanting to spend so much on something like flowers... As of now I am thinking I will bring some type of DIY centerpeices and possibly rent vases from the resort (I read somewhere on here where i girl did this) just so I won't have to bring all those vases with me... maybe an option you may want to consider. Request pics I would love to see what they can do!!!

    Yes i think you will be just fine! I was thinking of adding some type of chocolate bar or snacks but I'm scarred they might take it away since you're not allowed food... but I'll probably have to search it!! Well again AWESOME job! I can't wait how it all turns out!!

    Wow I love it ALL!! Awesome JOB!! i hope you dont mind but i may be taking some ideas!! I love the survival kits... do you think you will have a problem bringing them with you as far as customs??

    omgosh I'm so excited for you!!l GOOD LUCK!! & I cant wait to read your review with EVERYTHING!!! I guess the only things I am curious about is your interaction with Pilar once you get there and the overall resort feel.

    Thanks ladies! & yes i think you're all right... I will just call today and confirm the date. She emailed me back and said May 31st is 100% available so I'm going to just book that date! Fingers crossed!!! Thanks again for the input... it makes me feel better to know that some brides are going or/and have gone thru the same problems!! but i shall keep everyone updated!!!

    omg I cant wait to hear the details when you get back. I'm still in the process of attempting to book my wedding date... Pilar is just so S L O W with responding I've been emailing with her since late February. I attempted to book April 12 and she got back to me 2 weeks later telling me the locations i was requesting were booked and so I emailed her right away for availability for other dates and she has yet to respond and its not about to be a week... I dont know if I'm just getting too anxious but I'm beginning to think maybe I should look into another resort...

    So I wanted to update you guys... I received an email from Pilar yesterday and after emailing her back and forth and waiting close to 2 weeks for a confirmation the locations i want are currently booked for the date I wanted. She did offer me the day before but I am very upset... Idk if i should possibly look into another resort b/c this communication issue is making me fear of whats to come...

    Awwww I'm sorry to hear that!! I'm so in love with the resort that i hope she confirms atleast by this week. I keep debating whether or not I should just call her directly but I've heard that people have trouble getting through to her. I would really hate to have to look for another resort after investing so much time into the research...

    So guys since I was so excited about finally picking an official date I wanted to find a creative way to ask my girls to be my bridesmaids and MOH. We all met for dinner at a Mexican Restaurant and i gave them each their boxes! I found the super cute idea on Pinterest (CURRENTLY ADDICTED TO THIS APP LOL) and this is what i created: I purchased all the supplies at AC Moore. I used cupcake boxes, shredded squiggly paper (ON SALE), scrapbook sheets, glittery letters, flower stickers, pink ribbon, and Ring Pops!!!! I also wrote personalized letters to each of the girls telling them why I wanted them to be a part of my special day!!! & ofcourse we had to take a pic of our RINGS!! LOL Well let me know what you guys think!!! I'm loving these DIY projects!!!! & Hey show me yours too!! i want to see what special way you guys have asked your bridesmaids!!!!

    Well guys… just like an indecisive bride I went with NOW Jade! And I am seriously soooo happy with my decision. I submitted all my document to confirm the date! So let the planning and details begin LOL!!! I can’t wait to share with everyone all DIY projects and can’t wait to see all of yours as well!! Good Luck everyone!

    Omg thanks for the heads up!! i actually did go ahead and check- but Sat April 26th was completely booked! And I really want to get married in April on a Saturday; so i decided to keep the date; my guest will just have to make that decision. Hey question, how long did it take you to get confirmed with NOW Jade. I send her the deposit and all the information via email on the 15th and the funds are still in my account and I have yet to get a response from her...

    You are def right! I fell in love with that date so if they want to be there then they will! Thanks! I guess I always try to accommodate everyone but I just need to remind myself that it's my day... Lol easier said them done tho lol well can't wait to see your updates and final review of your wedding since your getting married a couple of months before me!!!!!!

    Hi Jinele, I just submitted my information to Pilar to book for April 12, 2014! I'm just waiting for my confirmation. I'm working with Wendy Hicks from Travel Wright..... SHE IS AWESOME!! She has been able to answer my ALL my questions LOL! I'm also worried about the price quotes b/c for the rooms alone the prices are TOO CRAZY! I think the airfare/room packages would be the much better bet... but I have to wait till May to get the airfare quotes included. Something else that has worried me is that there might be alot of ppl booking there for spring break & if my guests dont book right away the resort my completely be booked lol but idk if I'm just getting ahead of myself. Well hopefully I'll recieve my confirmation soon and be 100% sure that I am booked for 4/12/2014! CONGRATS!!! Annette

    I am having the same issue!!! I already submitted my deposit for April 12, 2014... but I am getting so nervous about the prices that I am thinking about pushing the date to mid May... ahhh idk what to do!!! HELP GUYS! lol I just dont want my guests to end up paying a ridiculous amount just b/c of the date i picked.
