    The day I finished my first set of save the dates I found out I had to change my date I just finished my new ones today and got confirmation of my date at the resort

    Congrats on your engagement and welcome! I have been to the playa pesquero, was even going to have my wedding there (changed my mind to Jamaica). What kind of questions do you have/ what would you like to know? I travelled with 22 other people to the resort and everyone loved it, I also work as a travel agent and have always had great feedback from the clients I've sent there.

    Off the top of my head the renaissance Aruba offers both options. They do beautiful weddings there as well.

    My thinking is to start the dinner/reception at 6:30 then have the open bar reception from 8:30 to 10:30. The disco opens at 12 so I figure those who want to continue the party can do so there.

    Lol I know exactly how you feel I can't wait for the day to finally be here! I was supposed to have my wedding in May 2014 but had to move it to October 2014... Even longer wait!

    Where are you planning to have your reception? I'm having mine at the Piscis outdoors which is an extra 1700$ on top of the package apparently. I agree with you, I like the open bar and cocktail hour and the guaranteed upgrade (my parents will be very happy with that)

    Congrats on the engagement! It's crazy how things work out my fiancé was actually my first kiss when I was 13 we've been together almost a year and a half and got engaged in November

    I think so, my wedding has been pushed back to October 2014 so I have time. I did find that even though I loved many there is one that I've just loved all along. Don't worry you will know when you find it

    I called on Monday to change my date. The lady I spoke to made it seem like it was available and said I will receive a confirmation email. I haven't recieved anything, should I wait a little longer or call/email?

    I plan to get my save the dates done this weekend.... Hopefully lol My mother is in a charity dragon boat race starting early Saturday morning so ill be going to support her then in the evening I have a friends jack and Jill to go to hopefully Sunday isn't spent recovering lol
