  1. Hi ladies! I purchsed 10 of these Coach passport cases beginning of this Spring - only 8 of my girls can make it so I have two extra! I'm selling for $60 for both or $35/each with FREE shipping! These are brand new still with tags, and I will also send coach tissue, boxes and stickers for wrapping. They are hot pink embossed patent leather.
  2. We're only going to need 5 or 6 mason jars so we're bringing them in our carry-on. We're getting married in Jamaica and were HIGHLY advised NOT to ship anything because it may be held up in Customs and unless you have a designated person down there (friend or relative) the wedding coordinators/hotel typically do not take responsibility for making sure anything gets there. At least that's what I've heard - but just a suggestion. This is what I came up with this weekend - picked up all my flowers/supplies at Michael's for $52 and my florist quotes me $85/centerpiece in Jamaica. And note to self - hydrangeas do not last in humidity - they wilt extemely quickly - so if you're interested - Michael's had some awesome real-like ones. Let me know what you think! There will be one bunch of hydrangeas, green stuff and twigs per mason jar.
  3. Love this! I'm going for a rustic theme as well and doing something VERY similar but with hydrangeas

Well I think you convinced me to do Chevron! I already texted my MOH who is a phenomenal seamstress and we will be making them as well! Where did you find your fabric? I think the least expensive I've seen so far is $6.99/ yard and I will need 6 yards I think. I'm going to make them 12" x 108". What are you doing? Any advice?

  6. Where did you find those lantern centerpieces? I saw another bride had those as well - very cool! I don't know how well they will work for me becuase my dinner venue is an outdoor covered patio, so I've heard it can be very windy. I hear you about thr $$ I even talked my florist down to $50/table - but seriously cannot justify it! Have you ever looked into real touch flowers? They're fantastic! I used them for my bridesmaids bouquets and contemplating using them for centerpieces
  7. I'm only going to have 5-6 tables so I figured it would be doable...Mason jars are surprisingly thick and sturdy, yes they would be heavy but if you wrap them well, and even put some cloths or something inside them while traveling I think they would be fine! I'm probably going to bring mine in my carry-on
  8. I LOVE Mason jars! Do you have a picture of your centerpiece? Or an inspiration photo? I wanted to use Mason Jars too because I really like the beachy/rustic feel. I'm thinking of wrapping some burlap around the Mason Jars. Here are some of my inspirations:
  9. I love your centerpieces! If you got a lime green table runner that would TOTALLY change the look of it. I like simple, very pretty! At least at my resort, or centerpieces will only be used for the dinner which is 2 hours - TOPS, so I really cannot jusitfy spending $$$ on floral arrangements. Nice job! Where did you get your tall pink vase? Is it paper or glass?
  10. I made bathing suits for my bridesmaids and maid of honor last week. Very easy! Check out my DIY thread: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/87248/diy-bikini-bottoms-for-bridesmaids-moh-sooo-easy#post_1943582
  11. I'm doing coral and turquoise as well Went with the David's bridal swatches of "pool" and "coral reef." Love the combo!
  12. This is by far the easiest DIY project I have done so far. Even if you're not familiar with iron-on transfers, you should be just fine! All you do is find some cute bikini bottoms, purchase the iron-on sequins, iron on and VOILA! I also purchased some iron-on letters and will make "Mrs. Daneault" for the day after wedding, my fi will totally love it! I purchased my black bikini bottoms from Wal-Mart for less than $5 each and the iron-on transfers were from Hobby Lobby and were $2.50. So this project cost me $7.50 for each of my girls. I think they will totally love them and will make for such a cute picture! Just make sure you use the delicate setting on your iron with NO steam. The tags on the bathing suits said you're not supposed to iron them, but I figured for the price it was worth to try it and I had no issues!
  13. You want to open the groupon code from the website. Then close it. Then go to retailmenot and find the 50% off link and click that and it will work.
