Hello Ladies - I have to agree that the WC takes forever to respond. (The response time does seem longer and longer, especially since we only have a month left!) Luckily, I have a wedding planner that has experience with previous weddings at the Riu Palace Bavaro. She gave me a lot of information package (that she had from the previous weddings), which saved me quite some time. Mrsrowlands - I have the price list of all the services at the renova spa (such as hair extensions) if you would like. Or maybe you already have it? Also, I heard that there is no gazebo option at the Riu Palace Bavaro, only the beach. Initially, we wanted the gazebo at the Riu Palace Punta Cana (and didn't mind going there for it), but the WC said that since we are all RPBavaro guests, we can only have the wedding at the beach. Please let me know if you heard otherwise! We also paid extra to have a private reception by the beach and it will be a Beach B.B.Q. - The pictures I saw were very nice so we opted for this choice but the price really adds up!! Hello ladies I will be getting married at the Riu Palace Bavaro on May 31, 2013. I'm a little worried since its such a new resort and not too much info online. Initially I wanted a gazebo wedding but found out that there are only beach weddings available. I was hoping for something a little more private but I guess I have no choice... Please do share any information it would really help!
