LOL tell me about it. I say thank god for my family cause they are so supportive, especially my parents and my brothers who are honestly like my best friends It makes it hard though cause I had hoped for so much more with my future in-laws. (Hell my ex's Mom and sister sent Andrew & I engagement cards and wedding gifts!!!!! They weren't even invited to our wedding and I havent dated my ex in over 14 years!!!!!!! ...) LOL I speak to them maybe once a year via email at Christmas--but I've always had great relationships with the families of anyone that I dated...including Andrew's ...up until we announced we were getting married away. What is it about weddings that makes people feel that they are entitled to telling you how to live your life? Hello people, I respect those who can't come to the wedding and those who just choose not to, I'm ok with it cause I am not here to tell anyone how to spend their hard earned money, or what priorities they should have in life, ....but honestly respect and extend the same courtesy to us. Sheesh. LOL

Ladies I totally hear ya!!! ...I can't even begin to tell you the misery my future SIL has put me and us through....and all because she can't afford to go to the wedding. I have come to learn the hard way that unfortunately there are some people that just can not be happy for others if it's not revolving around them, or if they are just plain and simple a miserable person. Last weekend my FI had to finally cut the ties with his sister as she was causing us a lot of grief . I personally come form a very tight family and have a very large group of friends that are like family to me, so have a hard time understanding how someone that calls themselves family can act so hurtful and spiteful to another family member or choose to not even be a part of the local events they can be even if they can't financially afford to go to the wedding. Weddings can seriously bring out the worst in some people....She turned down every invite ...even Christmas dinner at our house, my shower, the Jack & Jill, etc...and we haven't even had words with her!!!! LOL...she basically found out we were going away for our wedding and had it out with my FI about how this cant be what he wants, iots all MY doing (which is finny cause he was all over the destination more so then me!) and went on about how nice and great it is for my family cause we're obviously rich and can afford it (my family is far from rich) etc etc etc... Andrew stood up for himself obviously and just staed the facts, never said anything negative (he's so not confrontational lol) and then we never heard from her again....just stopped talkign to us, and used everybody else like his Mom and other siblings and FB statuses to make sure we knew how she felt about it. She went as far as to delete us from BBM, and then deleted only ME last week from FB, yet kept Andrew. So Andrew sent her a message, deleted her and said enough is enough you aren't going to treat my soon to be wife like this, it costs no money to support us in this marriage, and no money to just be kind and respectful ...and said we dont need to hear from you again unless you have something positive to say. Do you know she had the nerve to say that she deleted me from FB because of all the posts people were putting on my FB wall about my wedding and because my statsus about how I was excited that we were only 6 weeks away from being married...She said I was rubbing it in that she couldnt go!!! OMG is she for real???!!! If you guys only knew me well enough , you would all find that completely laughable because if there is one thing Im not is that kind of person. I realize now that there is no way that we can do anything to help her or make it better, people that are hell bent on being miserable will always dwell ont he negative, they will always be the poor victim and you the evil people that dare to be happy in your life, and so i have now put it behind me. We have such a strong support system of other family and friends....it really is the one time you get to make this all about you ladies!!!! So enjoy, do yourself the favor and know that those that honestly dont want to share in your excitement or cant be happy for you are really off better at home ...and maybe even out of your life.Positive people and positive vibes only )

YUP completely!!! and I cant seem to figure out when i am going to find the time seeing as every weekend is completely booked solid from now til the wedding...and my work is NUTS right now...go figure!!!! lol When i start to get extremely overwhelmed I start making a list of completely attainable things for each day of the week - put 1-2 items on it max ...then stick to it.. I def have to do that for the next 5 weeks cause I am completely overwhelmed right now with everything I have to do

LOL me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My girls booked a weekend at a resort north of the city too...we really have a crazy bunch for our bridal party but they are so much fun and I am really looking forward to mine!!! Mine isn't til 2 weeks before we leave though....although I got the itinerary yesterday and looking forward to one of the days being a spa day and Scandinave baths....then party night!!! im dreading the hangover already LOL ....first though we have our Jack & Jill party ont he 20th ---sooo looking forward to that --there's well over 125 tickets sold already!!! gonna be so much fun to see so many people!! Time to enjoy all these great wonderful festivities ladies that will only come along once!

YAY!!! I was pretty excited when mine fit too...but I had ordered it 2 sizes too small LOL....Andrew has his Bachelor Party next weekend...I just told him to remember that mine is after his meaning whatever's good for him is good for me also hahahahahahaha. Im more worried they are going to drink him to death :s The guys are a little wild in our wedding party...lol

Survival kit; nail files (i got tropical color ones lol) Gum aloe, lens cleaner wipes (4) bandaids, Kleenex packet, 2 Blistex lip balms with spf, purell wipes Snack Attack Kit; Skittles Welch's fruit gummies Pepperoni sticks peanut butter cups Milk Duds Mints Butterfinger chocolate Sweet tarts The canvas tote they are getting the personalized tumblers, welcome package, scrub puff, deck of cards, and Key card carrier Our bridal party -we bought all the guys outfits, linen pants, linen shirts, and these really cool choc brown flip flops that have bottle openers on the bottom of them -if you knew these guys you'd know they will LOVE that LOL My bridesmaids I got them custom foot jewelery, their jewelery for the day and custom flowers for their hair off etsy, nailpolish same color as their dresses, special luggage tags, and some other goodies for their beach totes (I got them fancier totes as well) Im running out of time to finish everything let alon order anything more --so Andrew might be in luck!! These gifts are addictive!! LOL

I would have done the private catamaran ...and should have now in hind sight ...but we opted for the full private dinner and reception which is costing a small fortune at the resort we are going top Sounds likely your guests will fee very special and loved!

YAY! They are so great! ...and yes I did get the bags from Vistaprint. I actually got them when they had the 33%off entire site ...so I think I paid $7 a bag?

I looked into the tshirts too --I loved that idea Great job! We have over 40 though and I couldn't do it with the cost of bags and everything else So I got them for the bridal party only.

Hi PuntaBride, we did the bag thing, with key holders, cards, the 3 diff kits for snacks, hangover and survival, and the personalized tumblers... I thought the same about the bags but truthfully all I did was put the date and location ...I didn't reference us on the screen printing of the bags so that they could use it again...and I do think cause I decided to go with the better quality that ppl will likely use them again...I know I would. here's some pics for you,..the palm tree is more for single guys the other one with flowers is for ladies and or couples. They are a really good quality.

I told my guys they could do whatever they felt most comfortable with but most of them asked my preference as well so I told them I preferred no short under....def doesn't work well with the linen....

So I had our guys try both ways and truthfully with the linen I did not like the look of the tshirt/undershirt underneath it. Dress shirt absolutely but for some reason (maybe cause the linen is more casual ...im not sure....) the tshirt took away from the shirt at the neck line. I am going to look for tank tops perhaps and see if that may work if not -they are going without...

Keisha sent me an email earlier this week saying she didn't need my final numbers until we got there....I will make sure to send her an email though ay least a week before. My florist is doing the set up thought and needs to know at least a week before because we ordered the chiavari chairs so will have to confirm numbers ne week before anyway lol

They are from the Dollar Tree acually, they were 1.25 and then the stickers from the easy seller (Davetdesigns) are waterproof and customizable and cost less then .75 cents each....it was the best solution for me...
