JA2012, I couldn't agree with you more!! Congratulations dear!!!! It was wonderful planning with you and all the other May ladies! I had no idea but we were in Montego Bay at the same time you were there getting married!! lol, we were on our honeymoon at the Sandals Royal Caribbean What a completely awesome experience ....and seriously if I could go back now and not stress over the tiny small details so much then I probably would have taken in even more on that day. I remember waking up the morning after and looking at my hubby and saying...I so wish we had been guests at our wedding LOL... We both said we would love to wake up and do the day all over because it was PERFECT!!!... any honestly I can't even tell you about all those little details, all I know is that every one of our guests and by standers and the staff working our dinner/reception were loving every min of the wedding, and I had people emailing , talking and raving about how it was the most intimate wedding and the best wedding they had been too .....makes all the stress, drama, and pre-wedding crap all worth it int eh end. Once I got to that resort everything was "irie" as they say in Jamaica Absolutely the best time of my life. Advice for any new Brides....don't sweat the small stuff, nothing is going to go exactly as planned but it WILL BE the most perfect day even with any differences. Step back and take it ALL in, because it really does fly by .... Thanks to all the lovely ladies on this forum for sharing, supporting and understanding ....it was wonderful to have such great people to go through this experience with

Congrats !!!! What a GORG pic!!!! and I totally felt the same ---I cried on the 1 week anniversary because it was all over and felt like it flew by so fast LOL It was an incredible 2 weeks ....and now I have wedding /vacation hangover. LOL

Thank you so much It was a beautiful day and we had some fantastic people that really made the day for us too. All I can say is that it really does fly by so take some time to stand back and take it all in with your hubby, seize the moment. The day is over before you know it

Hey Ladies, I found out the day before my wedding that Keisha was no longer there. I was not a happy camper at the time ...talk about stress as soon as you get to the resort...however after I spoke to Patricia I felt reassured and knew it would all work out. Try not to stress about this, my wedding day was perfect. Patricia handled everything seamlessly and confidently. She's been there for years.... The only part I didn't appreciate was that they (Patricia) initially lied to me about Keisha no longer working there....as I had been told my multiple staff on the resort including my reps from my tour company the day I got there that Keisha was no longer there but at the Riu in Negril as their wedding planner.....and so I asked Patricia out right and she was upset and wanted to know who told me and then denied it....so I just told her I appreciated her telling me the truth versus lieing to me and me losing all confidence that my day was going to be a success. I guess they are trying to keep Brides from freaking out about Keisha no longer being there (which is understandable but full disclosure in my books is way better and more appreciated by me anyway). Patricia handled everything perfect, and I had a private dinner and reception on the pooldeck ... and everything that was required for my setup was handled perfectly. Def bring all your emails with your details that you have discussed with Keisha, Patricia did give me all the negotiated rates I had arranged with Keisha, so nothing was any different. You are going to love every minute of it! We were married last Wednesday and the time just flew right by...really try too takes minute to stand back and savour the moment and take it all in ...I was told too but everything was going by so fast and so wish I could replay the day again now!! Was an absolutely perfect day just like yours will be!! Best of luck!!!

I just got married last Wednesday at ROR and had the private dinner and reception on pool deck for my wedding...I would not do it any other way now that I've been there and done it....it is so worth the extra cost!!!..my guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I had 40 friends and family there. I can provide pics once I'm back ... Just on my honeymoon right now but happy to answer any question etc... Literally the time of my life ..,wedding day and night was PERFECT )

Ladies, I am off to the airport in less then 5 hours now ---thank you all so much for being so wonderful and helping out with this planning-- you made it so much more fun and interesting!!! Fingers crossed the ceremony and speech get written before the wedding day hahahaha ...I really am not a good `wing it`girl so it has too. Best wishes to all you beautiful May brides --cant wait to hear from everyone when you and we are back Congrats to Court and Ali---beautiful pic (s)!!!! Way to go ladies! Kerry

You are the best- thank you sooo much!!!! I am still up doing last minute details ....we leave in 5 hours!!!!!!!! Aggghhhh! I still haven`t written my speech or the ceremony script but I have the plane ride ...LOL...everything else is pretty much done.
