Anyone know if a Tulum bride can have her poolside reception at the jacuzzi pool? Cause those pictures I just saw are AWESOME! Looks a lot nicer than the Tulum pool pictures I've seen so far. And how does it work? If there's 4 brides getting married in Tulum that day, and all 4 brides want to do poolside reception... wouldn't it be first come first serve?

@worstbride: LOVE your dress! Seeing your dress on here convinced me I can get a bigger dress that's not super light weight for destination only. That's why I chose mine.

@ Trisha: Do you remember rooughly how much you paid for the extra flower decorations you had at your ceremony... hanging off the hammocks? I remember you mentioned that they would bring that to your dinner and decorate with them too. So I wanted to know how much the resort would be charging. If it's too much, maybe to look for another florist.

I really liked her designs too, but like you said, it was a little too pricy for me. I'm still doing airline tickets, but my friend, who is a graphic designer is going to help me out with them now. I showed her the idea behind the airline tickets from other brides and she's going to work her magic.

For brides that had their dinner in the a-la-carte restaurants, did you guys make any of your speeches there? If so, were there mics provided for you guys to use? And were you introduced to the rest of the party in any way?

I didn't actually use her services, but I did send her an email for prices and general info. the offer unlimited changes, so the proofing process varies with each client. Once the designes are finalized, the printng and assembly typically takes 2 weeks, then shipping is usually 2-3 days. This is their basic pricing (for 50 invites cause that's what I was considering) 50 - airline ticket invitations with pocket folders and mailing envelopes: $375 50 - luggage tag RSVP cards with envelopes: $150 Shipping and handling: $50 If you are international customer, they require a credit card payment over the phone. Question: welcome dinner... is that something included in the wedding packages? Or is that something extra you have to pay for for the resort to organize the tables and such for you at the buffet?

Hey brides, for those close enough to Buffalo, there are some places that will have a mailbox there for you and they'll hold everything there for you until you can go pick it up. I'm still trying to find the thread with the info about it, but that's also an option if you're REALLY wanting to order from sites that don't ship to Canada.

That leaping frog picture of the guys is adorable! I love it! It's always nice to hear brides come back from their wedding and say that it went perfectly. Even though the first couple of months after booking is always stressful with the lack of communication from the WC. I really can't wait to hear from them. Still have another year to go. So my friends pointed out that our wedding date will be 11.12.13 (November 12, 2013). They thought that's why I chose the date, but I didn't even realize that myself. I guess it is kind of a special date.

With the a-la-carte restaurants for your reception dinner, how far in advance did you have to communicate the information with the WC? I'm really scared that there will be more than 1 wedding that night, and the dinner slots are overlapped/unavailable, and I REALLY don't want that to happen.

I'm sure I'm going to be the same way, so hopefully, I can arrange to have the bachelorette party the same night, or at least have people over, so I'll be too busy to think about the FI. I had a bad dream last night about my FI going out to meet with one of his ex-sleeping buddies (who I REALLY dont like and gets bad vibe she wants Richard back) behind my back. In the dream, we got into this big fight cause the FI said it was no big deal. Only waking up to no comfort from him whatsoever. Only thing he said to me about the dream was... "why would i be eating dimsum?" Guys. So insensitive sometimes. Sorry... Just ranting!

I was going to suggest American Apparel too. They have a whole bunch of them in difference colours there. I have 2 of them and I LOVE them cause they're so wide that I sometimes wear them like a shawl (sp?) at work when it gets chilly. They're about $30-$40 each I think.
