@@danielleandryan2015 Love that idea! It would be super easy and probably inexpensive but so cute! @@girlinthecity97 I have to be honest I agree with your fiancé. The reception is the most expensive part, so I don't get why people have full fledged AHR's. With that said I am not one to talk since we are having a whole other wedding ceremony here at home in the church. because of this we will be doing a small dessert reception afterwards, but it will be very minimal. I don't plan on doing any favours though for this one.

Faux Flowers For Ceremony/reception/centerpieces
csho replied to lydiasusi's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
@@Kyliewylie I think there are tacky looking fake flowers, but there are also some very beautiful realistic fake flowers. We are using fake flowers for our centerpieces- they look pretty real though unless you look really closely at them. Obviously the better quality ones do tend to be more expensive, but luckily with Michaels they often have sales and they always have coupons you can use every week. I'd just head over there and take a look at them your self and see what you think -

@@LilyPotter Love your cake topper! Very nice! Also super happy to hear about your papers! That's probably a huge relief off your mind! I think its soo funny they got Iceland instead of Fiji... they are just a little bit different lol! -
Once I figured it out I thought it was really clever!

They look good, but I don't get the second photo. It says we (mustache) you to shave the date. But it doesn't say ask in there. I didn't know if the mustache represents something and I am just not getting it lol! Oh is it suppose to be we "must ask you"? Sorry sometimes these things take me a little while to get lol!

WOw your wedding came together so nicely! You did such an amazing job with all the details! Congratulations! And your wedding video was awesome!

I think that's a pretty decent price for that resort and your departure gate.

Over the weekend I put together my Bridal Party's gifts. I hope they like it! I got them a beach bag from Old Navy (last spring on sale), Coral Havaiana flip flops, lypsyl with SPF, a MOH/BM tank, and a few other goodies. I also decided on my "getting ready outfit" I have a white Bride tank and a coral skirt. I have 29 days left now until I leave and honestly I am pretty much ready! I had my dress fitting last week and will be picking my dress up in about 2 weeks. So I will post photos of it fitted once I get it! Other then that I am pretty just waiting for this month to go by!!

I Broke The Cardinal Rule...

That's exactly what I did! I had a glass of wine and like you said the first few minutes were awkward but after that it was fun!

I Broke The Cardinal Rule...
csho replied to LissaSou's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
@@LissaSou It really depends. I like to think that you're only going to get married once so maybe it would be worth it to spend the extra. You need to think 1) would you regret the decision if you didn't get it and found a cheaper alternative 2) can you realistically afford it? I set a certain budget not necessarily because it was what I could afford but because I just didn't want to spend any more on the dress. I also didn't try on any dresses that were too much above my budget and that I wasn't willing to spend the money on. If it is absolutely the dress you want and you can afford the dress without going into debt it might be worth it. I would sit and think on it a bit and maybe go and try on some other dresses just to be sure that it really is the one and don't make a rash decision. But at the end of the day we hopefully only get married once and at the end of your life are you going to be worried about those $700 or are you going to be wishing you had of bought that beautiful dress that made you feel like a million dollars? Also did the sample size fit? I purchased mine off the rack (it was pretty much brand new) and I was able to bargain it down from $1322.50 (incl. tax) to $1000 (tax in) if I took the sample and paid cash. To be honest I just wanted the sample because it fit like a glove and I didn't want to chance it by order another one in. So maybe you could see if the salon will sell you the sample dress and bargain it down? Decide what you are willing to pay for the dress and tell them that's your absolute max and what can they do for you? Most bridal gowns are marked up quite a bit and they have wiggle room. Also offer to pay cash because there are fees that are associated with debit and credit, so they will save some money on that end. -
@@PuntaCanaBride14 Iberostar Laguna Azul! What resort were you at in varadero? And I know what date do you guys leave? We leave on the 1st of may! I am sooo excited! Only 31 days left now!!!!

So much going on and so little time!!! I did a boudoir photo shoot!!! It was sooooo much fun! I did it last June because a friend of mine was doing one and her friend was a photographer so I had mine done the same day. It was soo much fun and I couldn't wait to give it to my FI so I gave it to him for his birthday as a pre-wedding gift lol! He loved it... but honestly I loved it too, it was such a fun, liberating experience, and it will be so nice to have those photos for after we have kids and get older. Its amazing how no matter your size a good photographer will make you look great!

@@amandab36 It went well! I didn't need much, just taking the back out a little to help avoid the "back fat overlap" haha! I will take photos at my next appt when I pick it up

Oh I am so happy to hear everything is coming along nicely for you! I can't wait to see photos from the wedding and your dress! I had my first fitting yesterday and my dress fit woohoo because I had gained weight and it was too small lol, I am getting the back take out a bit though to avoid the back fat! But I love my dress and can't wait to wear it down the aisle... although I am thinking maybe I won't wear it for the dinner... its so uncomfortable to sit in, but great for standing lol! Lucky you being under weight with your decor! I am hoping that mine won't be over, but I think we'll be ok as I gave some to my parents and my MIL. What day do you leave? We leave May 1st, but I am ready now... just waiting to get my dresses back and I'll be ready to leave! I have everything else done!

I mean I have always been super excited, but now I am really really excited! 33 days til we leave!!!!!! I just had my dress fitting last night which was great considering over the summer I gained weight and it didn't fit... I worked hard though and it fits again woohoo! And I don't need many alterations! Just taking it out a little in the back... didn't really have to, but wanted to, to avoid the dreaded back fat lol! @@diadiamond Have you decided anything more about your wedding yet?

Ohhhh @@LilyPotter I love the dress!!! Its sooo gorgeous!!! I don't think you need straps! I love the simplicity of it! I am so jealous of your no back fat! I just had my first fitting last night and it actually went really well... my dress fits perfectly, but I have some "back overhang" and I know its just because I have a little bit too much fat on me... shes going to take the back out a little bit though and so that should help with it. I think you look soo great in the dress already! It probably won't even need many alterations. I'd say just go with a nice necklace and leave it strapless... but obviously you have to be comfortable and if straps will make it more comfortable it will look beautiful as well! I love the belt you have with the dress... so blingy but fun! -
