One year today until my wedding!!!!!!!!! Soooo excited! But I just wanted to update... I found my bridesmaid dresses! I am sooooo excited because I randomly typed into google "Coral Bridesmaid dresses for sale" and up popped a kijiji ad for two bridesmaid dresses in a style I loved by Alfred Angelo and the sizes are about 1 size too big for each of my girls but not a big deal at all because we'll just get them altered to fit anyway! I got the two dresses for $150 and they are in the exact colour I was looking for as well! Here's a picture of the dress!!! Its Alfred angelo style 7138.

I think the bouquets look gorgeous and I really don't think you will even notice at all the colour difference!! I have decided to just go with whatever the resort provides for me... so at least you know what you'll have lol! And I love those sandals they are so cute!!! I am just wearing an old pair of shoes that I have worn as bridesmaids shoes in two other weddings... they are not too high and they are silver and match my dress perfectly!!! And plus they are kind of special since I have worn them to 2 weddings as a bridesmaid before and now I get to wear them as a bride... I just need to clean them up a bit! And then I am thinking I'll jsut get a pair of flip flops for the reception and dinner! There are a really cute pair of coral sandals that are prettty at Spring so I am thinking of getting those, they'll add a little fun and no one will really notice them anyway and I can wear them again!

Kay- I don't think it looks bad at all... I think you won't ever get the perfect shade of white to go with your dress or vice versa. Really no one is going to notice that they look a little more yellow then your dress. I like the creamier looking colour then super white anyway! I guess it depends on how important flowers are to you. If you look back on your photos in 10 or 20 years are you going to regret not having whiter flowers? If not then I would keep them and use them. If you feel like you would regret it then maybe you should look into getting some other flowers? I think sometimes as brides we get a little caught up in these minute details that in the end will not even make a difference. Just try to keep that in mind when making a decision!

I think I may have seen that video... Yeah thats my only worry that it blow around and get in the way... we are also having a ceremony in the church here as well as my FI is catholic and really wanted to get married in the church as well... so I might get one, bring it with me and go up on the terrace one day and try if out and see what it does!

Ohhh put up pictures! I am sure they will be beautiful!!!! Honestly we are our own worst critics! The flowers will look beautiful!!!

Yeah I think I will just a cheap one or try to borrow one and then I don't have to feel bad about it if I only wear it for a little bit... but I think I would regret not wearing one... so for the ceremony I will and then take it off!

I also want to wear something in my hair... I had wanted to wear a flower, but now that I have my dress and there is a lot going on with it I am not sure if a big flower will look very good... I am thinking maybe a beaded-wire type flower comb... I found one I really liked... I also want to wear my hair low and to the side so you are right I am not sure a veil will look great, but I do love how it looks with the dress... I totally thought I wouldn't want to, but when I try them on I like it a lot more lol! Oh there are WAY tooo many decisions a bride has to make... I was thinking if I do get one I might just buy it on ebay for like $20 or try and borrow one from a friend! That way if I decide not to go with it, it won't really matter!

Have you called to see if your dress is in yet Jolene? I picked my dress up yesterday... so now its just hanging in my guest bedroom waiting for me to try it on lol! Sooo tempting! I was wondering what you guys are planning on doing for headpieces/veils? Are you guys planning on wearing a veil? I thought I wasn't going to but I feel like I look "incomplete" without it. So I might just go with a short one for the ceremony and a jeweled flower/starfish hair clip. I am afraid the veil will blow away and around too much though so I don't know lol!

I hate word! its soooo hard to use for formatting! Thats how I made my boarding pass invites... but It was so hard to get pictures into... like I don't understand why I can't just insert the picture and be able to move it around lol! I would totally be you and wondering where my dress is... I am the least patient person ever, so I would definitely be the one calling them tomorrow lol! But like you said if you still owe half they'll definitely be calling you once its in loL!

Jolene - this looks fantastic! I might borrow your template when I make mine, if you don't mind!! I just have a few comments. Please don't take offence to any of this but I am just super nit picky about grammar and formatting! The first page is great. The only thing I noticed was where you talk about checked baggage you have "Unless otherwise noted, any numbers of pieces...." I'd get rid of the "s" on numbers. On the second page everything looks great. The only thing is, and I am not sure if its just the way it came up on my program, but under the "Know Before You Go" section. There is punctuation missing in some of the paragraphs. It looks like you started it bullet form but some of the paragraphs have punctuation and some do not... I'd just clean that up a bit. And one last thing " Any medication is not widely available..." I think it might sound better "Medications are not widely available in Cuba. So please be sure to take enough... etc". And maybe also mention to bring things like immodium, tums, stuff for upset stomach and diahrrea because its hard to get there and expensive. The only other thing I would add if this was my brochure maybe would be to make sure to bring enough sunscreen because its very expensive to purchase there. I hope this was helpful!! But amazing job! Yeah I asked my MIL if she would be able to take it but didn't have any space in her house and my parents live about 3 hours away so I don't think I want it that far away hahaha my FI doesn't want to know what it looks like so I know he definitely won't be peaking, plus I'll just hide it in ur spare bedroom closet. He never goes in there, but it will be soo tempting for me lol! Oh well! Jolene - has yours come in yet? I can't wait to see a picture of you in it!

Thank you so much ladies! It seriouisly felt like it was made for me!!! The legnth was perfect... I am a shortie (5'4") and so many dresses needed to be altered so much... this one is a touch tight in the hips and through back area but I am going to work on losing a few lbs and I think it will fit perfectly! Also I just spoke to the shop and they are going to sell me the sample gown for a reduced price since its the size I was going to purchase anyway and its in perfect condition!! So I saved myself almost $400!!!! I am soooo excited! I am going to pick up either tonight or Wednesday!!!! I am sooo excited!

Hello!!! Soo its official I have found my dress!!!! I can't believe it! I tried on so many dresses and although they were all beautiful, I didn't feel like any of them were the one until I tried this dress on! I didn't even have it all the way on and I knew! I went dress shopping the next day as we had already planned on going with my future MIL. And went back to try the dress on and fell in love with it even more!!! It just is so my personality I love it soo much lol! Anyhow here it is!
