Planing on a wedding for a year + , trying to settle on a location that will do a Sunday legal wedding, then finding out a friend u know who got engaged a year later has decided w/in a month of being engaged they are planning a destination wedding a week before the date you have chosen. Oh and my groom is supposed to be the best man ? Just saddens me that we possibly may not make it to each others wedding.... But life must go on, I suppose . Stressors big and small will be there, remember to stay grounded, focus on hapiness and to a wonderful future! Here here!

So far Ive only been communicating via my travel agent. I should be booking today!!! When I first started my venue search a year ago, my grom and I said absolutely no to Mexico because of the legal requirements- blood test and all! We knew we wanted a legal wedding/ ceremony done all @ once and mexico seems to have the nices resorts. I searched all over the carribbean! But in the end, the resort seems to have most of what we want for our wedding! most importantly the Sunday date we wanted! This review was very helpful thanks! And thanks for everyone's input

Hello ladies, I have a date on hold for secrets maroma and have to book this week or I will loose. Ilet a reservation go for turks and caicos because we decided costs would just be too much for guests and preferred an adults only resort anyway. I have not had luck connecting with the WC and have only been communicating with a travel agent so far. my TA was actually there last week! This is one of the only resorts that will do a legal wedding on our preferred date which falls on a Sunday. we are also waiting to hear confirmation that loc cabos marquis would do a legal sunday as well and will book asap. This site has been helpful all around, but can any of you share a timeline or detailed process of the planing and arrangements with the WC? I'm also interested in getting more specifics on costs, if you don't mind sharing please- looking for info about budget, xtras, any add ons, also, are you able to change the menu options at all? what is your total like so far? also, the civil process and making it legal there. What was the blood test process like there? I am sooo nervous about? did you have to go off site? were you able to do it at the resort? I read conflicting info on secrets site about how many days you must be there 3 business days not including day of travel but also saw 4?? Any other advice, tips info would be great! Does anyone have photos of the reception venues and options for actual set up that you can share? Thanks!

Hi ladies, reading this has been so inspiring, I am looking for a venue that would do a Sunday wedding. Most resorts wont do a sunday.i i really dont want o change the date i have in mind because its so significant . I saw the web site for Rose hall locations but am so nervous about out side vendors. Your posts have put me at ease a bit. Can you share any more detailed info of the planning process , contacts and cost?? I'm needing to book ASAP and would prefer a beach location although am open to the aqueducts. It looks so much more private as well. What about transportation to the locations fom your resorts? And food? Any info would help, I'm so behind and everyone is frustrated

I dont want to go over board but dont want to skimp! Also, costs for guest the most!! Can anyone offer detailed info or Insight with regards to guests booking process tips and incentives? Is it really less e xpensive to book w/ beaches on line with the sales they offer or separately w/ other online sites? What's the estimated real cost? Are you happy, any regrets? It's overwhelming! This is the only resort that meets most of my wish list but hate to burden guest and us financially! Any help would be great!

Lets hear it for a late start! :eek:Can anyone give me info on booking at an all inclusive resort that will do a legal wedding on a Sunday ?? I've only found beaches t&c which seems too much for guest and beaches Jamaica which is too far from the airport, also sandals in Jamaica which is couples only, in need of serious help!! Trying for a june 2014 Sunday, no luck so far!
