  1. I'm getting married in November and I wanted to know if any past brides experienced hotel prices going down the closer it got to that time. We did not block rooms, and currently the rates are getting higher. I'm worried that by the time our guests try to book their rooms, rates will be too high.
  2. Has anyone changed their ceremony time after invitations were printed???
  3. @sillafeliz - We are getting married in November and the photographer we chose is Asia Pimentel. She is located in the Punta Cana area. Below is her information. Asia Pimentel Photography www.asiapimentel.com [email protected] 1-809-713-6099
  4. @jennac2 - I sent her photos of the colors I wanted for reception, and the kind of "theme" I was going for.
  5. @DinaQtobe - I looked for invitations for months thorugh different companies. One day I went on Etsy and after searching through so many pages, I finally found the one that I had envisioned. It might be worth it to check it out. Also, have you already figured out your hair/makeup and who is going to do it?
  6. @Kariyalove Mine is November 28th! So we are not that far off. I actually decided not to include meal options on the RSVP cards just because I am not sure how many people will show up. If we only have around 20, then I feel it's just better to let them pick what they want to pick off the menu., BUT since you already know what you want to do, then go for it. It'll give you a good idea as to what people want.
  7. Hello ladies! My wedding is set for November 28, 2013 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. My fiance and I have already booked our room. We sent the STD's a few weeks ago, and now we are working on the formal invitations. I've gotten all the big stuff out of the way like reserving the church and reception site, and booking a photographer/videographer. Now I just need someone for hair/makeup! I'm so excited!
  8. Hi ladies! My wedding is this upcoming November in Punta Cana. I also live in the Tampa Bay area.
  9. I had no idea they had cut-outs. Definitely getting one for the bridal showe!
  10. I just put the date, location and the website on there. I think it was have looked too crowded if I would have added the travel info on there. Also, I want the guests to check out the website.
  11. @happybride2013 did you get your website situated?
  12. Oh no! My WC said he will be doing the ceremony, and then I told her that we wanted to do have the ceremony in Spanish. She said that he also speaks Spanish, so now I'm not sure.
  13. I was thinking of only writing the names of single people on the RSVP cards so that they know they can bring a guest. I keep reading that it's not good etiquette to put the invitees name "and guest" on the outer envelope.
  14. Does anyone know if Father Lacaille speaks spanish? He is the priest that will be performing the ceremony, and I had forgotten to let my WC know that I need the ceremony in spanish.
  15. Thank you Katya! I looked on the site and it says for my wedding date the sun will set at 5:55. How much time would you say I would get before the sun is completely gone?
  16. I like the card idea. I'm trying to come up with games that will make money for us.
  17. I emailed her at the end of October last year, and she responded by saying she would not be available for my wedding date.
  18. Hey, I'm having the same problem. My ceremony is set for 4:30pm at the end of November, and I want to make sure that we have enough lighting for photos. I will ask my WC and see what she says.
  19. Did any of you ladies write in the guests names on the RSVP cards?
