    Does anyone know of any resorts close to Majestic Elegance where there is not a 3 night minimum stay? My mom has family she wants to visit in DR the day after the wedding, and this is making it diffucult. Thx!

    I believe that quote is for a count under 50 guests. Once you go over that number then the price is higher.

    I'm having the same dilemma as you. Currently I'm at 10 guests. Much less than I had expected. Hopefully more will rsvp, but my fiance thinks it's kind of silly to get a DJ for so little people. I'm interested to see if someone can answer that question.

    I'm having my ceremony at the church, and so Mayte quoted me at around 700 for decor. Can't remember the exact number.

    I just received my formal invitations. I purchased them through Etsy. It was so much cheaper than buying it from a shop around where I live!

    No problem I also have her on facebook so that I can keep updated on her work. I'm very excited.

    I want to see pictures!! I live in Florida so it's difficult to go up to New York for a trial.

    If I'm not wrong, I believe they are referring to Anna Nuet. She is a hairstylist that currently resides in New York, but will be moving to Punta Cana over the summer.

    Her work is very good! I also go on her facebook page so I can see her updated work. She's great with the emails. As a matter of fact, everytime she sends me an email she tells me of her ideas for the wedding/trash the dress session, and I feel like I'm already there.

    Yikes! I know that Majestic Elegance charges the same vendor fee of $300 for everyone (photographers, etc.)

    She told me this sometime last week. It was my photographer that told me about her, and so I'm going to be using her.

    She's actually moving to Punta Cana at the end of June, which makes it alot easier for her to have a more flexible schedule I imagine.

    When I requested information in January she told me it was $115 for hair and makeup.

    You might have to check with the other parish, Jesus Maestro and see if they do weddings on a Sunday.
