Hahaha, we are totally on the same page as far as our weddings go!!! Hilarious. Although I'm not going to even try to compete with the queen of DIY projects and graphic design (ahem...Megan ), we have the same vibe for a lot of our stuff!!! i.e...sentimental but FUN. Our programs have the same gist based off of one that I saw on Pinterest. AND apparently we have the same taste in music because I'm walking to Israel's version of "What a Wonderful Life"! It was my grandparent's song...every time i hear it I start to tear up, so I am just hoping I'm not ugly crying down the aisle because of the emotions the song drudges up. How lovely would that be to greet my groom with smeared mascara and snot? Lol. Anyways, I love his music b/c it gives classic songs an island twist. Excellent choice on your song, his over the rainbow version is one of my favorites! Here are our programs and then our Welcome Bag inserts. I'm going to tie the programs together with twine since I used twine in my invitations too. The front of the program is just us, the insides are the order of events and then a "thank you" and the back is an acknowledgment to those that aren't with us (our grandparents and a dear family friend of mine) in addition to a poem my grandfather wrote my grandmother years ago. He was a big time sailor and they had the most incredible love story. He passed away last February, but my grandmother will be there in Mexico, so I was so happy she gave me this poem to incorporate it into our wedding day. The color is a little different on the two inner pieces, but oh well, I'm not going to fret over a pantone number. Love love love your programs, Megan. As always, you did a fabulous job and really should look at wedding event planning as a career, my dear. Bah! my phone crapped out on me. What i was trying to say with my fat thumbs was, Is there a way that you can drape a sheet or blanket over it? Maybe the hotel has a large folding table that you can put onto of the tub, put a sheet and then turn it into a pretty table? I don't know, trying to think of alternatives. Maybe you could just do photos far away from the jacuzzi? I wouldn't worry about it being weird for people who are visiting the room. I think it's understandable. My fi and I are in the same boat kind of. We are supposed to get a room upgrade with our wedding package but all of the oceanfront suites are selling out, so we'll likely be stuck in the standard room. And I have no clue where we are going to get ready. There isn't a place for it on the resort, so I think we may be forced to do two rooms? Not sure, but oh well. I purchased the Dreams Wedding Package, so package information is tailored to that one. Hope this is helpful! Package Questions: Our package includes 30 people and any over that amount is $XX per person. Does this include children or are they a lesser amount? Answer: Children not older than 4-12 years pay 30-35% of adult. What is included with the Cocktail Hour/Champagne Toast? Answer: The package includes a champagne toast following the ceremony, this is for one hour, and canapes and champagne are included. If you would like to have another kind of drinks, like a national or international open bar it has an extra charge. Cocktail Party: Would we be able to do the cocktail party (champagne toast, canapes, mariachi band) near the beach bar? Answer: The cocktail party begins immediately alter the ceremony, and the toast and canapés are served at the ceremony location, I do not suggest to change this, I will show you the location at your arrival and we can check that when you get here. What is included in the Welcome Party? Answer: The Welcome Party has an extra charge: 07 usd per person per hour having a national bar, 10 usd per person per hour having international bar, and it could be at the jungle or at the beach, it includes the drinks and the tables and chairs Reception/Rehearsal Dinner Location: What are our options for Rehearsal Dinner and Receptions? They are, by far, the most hideous suit-cases I have ever laid eyes on. One is covered in PeaCock pattern and the other is a bright purple...probably geared toward a pubescent teenage girl. Ah! I'm so sorry!!! This is supposed to be an enjoyable time for you We have about 14 people that are up in the air. What I'm going to do is, if I run out of stuff, I'll just by one-off substitutes. I.e. their koozie won't be like all the others...it will be something else I find or they're little bags may not be the same as the others. We are handing out our OOT bags at the Welcome Party, so if we run into "misfit OOT bags", I'll make a joke about it like, "if you received a koozie or bag that isn't identical to the others, that's your dunce cap for RSVP'ing a month from the wedding date". HAHA. If you just make light of the situation and make it fun, it won't seem tacky or rude. To help "scurry" some of the undecided to a decision, I've told them that I have to submit a final head count to the resort by May 1st, which is true and makes the hotel the bad guy, not you. But honestly, don't worry about it. When you start getting upset, just say to yourself..."F$%# it. I'm getting married in Mexico." The cussing releases my frustration and the second sentence always makes me smile -Jessica

Hey Kard! I agree with catgirl, its your day... do what you want. I'm not wearing a necklace, I was going to go with colored earrings, but decided to put a bright flower instead.
