Nope, we knew it on the night we got engaged that was the plan. The day was so stunningly perfect and we were having the most amazing time, there was never another option. Had the prices come back and been outrageously expensive/ the date (give or take a day) was impossible, than we would have changed it. But lady luck is on our side

haha yeah, I am huge on sentimentality. Actually we both are... so we are keeping our dating anniversary as our wedding anniversary. Well, or so we will celebrate it as. We wanted to get married on the 18th, but as luck would have it, flights are not working out that way. At least, cheaper, do-able flights are not working out that way. So we will be getting married on the 17th, but from every year onwards, we will be celebrating it as the 18th and will ask our guests to "pretend" it is the 18th on the day we get married haha.
