Hi everyone...I have googled and researched and gotten absolutely nowhere to find a complete example of a video shot by Funever Photo. I've seen that some of the brides on here have used them in 2008-2009 but there aren't any examples of a ceremony video anywhere and overall there isn't much about them either. I've emailed them directly with no response (not so comforting when they want an outrageous price for a tiny video) and the video they have on their website is a "marketing video" vs. an example of their ceremony footage. I don't really want to hire an outside vendor thanks to the fees associated with them and I'm worried that if I don't fork over the money for video footage of the ceremony I will regret not having it years from now...so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place (and don't want to rely on guests to hold a simple video camera when the wind and waves will probably block out any words being said)! Does ANYONE here have an example of their video work? Thank you so much...I'm running out of time (a month and a half!!) so any help would be awesome!!

I didn't sleep last night because I'm so furious! Then call it what it is...A SET UP FEE...to which my answer is REALLY?? We're paying out the wazoo for alcohol at an all inclusive...twice in the instance of champagne and cocktail hour...there's your fee!! Sooooo flipping irritated!! And I REFUSE to pay for said mandatory champagne toast for the 12 teens and kids we're having who can't drink it anyways!! Ohhhhh the email I'm writing today!!

Ughhhhhhhh final list for final payments was just mailed to me and I'm FURIOUS! Have they tried to double charge y'all for "upgrading" to a private reception? They're double charging me for champagne for everyone and cake ($20) even though we're only getting the free cake that feeds 20 people and some of our guests are kids who won't be drinking the champagne...AND THEN they charged us $15 extra dollars to have open bar at the cocktail hour...NEVER was this mysterious extra fee mentioned and now that I'm at 57 guests that's an extra $500+ they're trying to rip out of me for NOTHING! I'm soooo irritated!!

Ugh one more thing to think about!! I'm feeling completely overwhelmed! Lol

Well that's what I was thinking of doing although sure your camera is far better than the one I was going to buy! I just don't know who I would ask to hold still enough to video tape it and I'm afraid the sound won't be heard with the wind and ocean We're bringing our photographers with us and I don't want to pay an outside vendor fee and honestly can't afford the insane prices that they charge! Ugh...Catch 22 but I have a feeling I will regret not having a video of our ceremony which is why I was willing to consider the $500 package

Hi y'all...I asked on the Gran Porto Thread but haven't had any luck so I figure I'll ask here because I'm sure it's the same videographer for the sister resorts. Elsa isn't answering any of my questions regarding the video quality. Does anyone have an example of the video that is offered? I would do the "cheapest" $500 package but would love to see the quality of one of their end products. I'm getting so close to the wedding date and I'm irritated that once again I'm left without answers from the WC...although I guess I shouldn't be shocked at this point! Lol

Our final choices were due on Monday and I've sent them all in and haven't heard anything from her since...so do any of you have any examples of their "cheapest" $500 video option? Gotcha! Well thought out. I wish we could have a friend do the legal thing that morning but instead we're going to the courthouse May 1st to do the legal paper signing but won't kiss or exchange rings...It's my parent's anniversary so we figured that'd be their gift and then hopefully that'll always been their day in my head and June 15th will always be Bill's and mine. Wish we could just do it the day of or after but it won't work.

Just out of curiosity how are you getting legally married there that morning? Are you officiating a friend? Or are you doing the blood work etc for Mexico?

I feel you on this...we were guaranteed a room upgrade, yet for the package we wanted we had to get the highest suite they offer...sooooo there's no room for us to upgrade to! I asked if my parents could have our upgrade and they said no. Ummmm we're bringing in 60 people to your resort for A WEEK and that's not even counting the money we're spending for the wedding! Grrrrrr

And they're charging me $20/person over 20 guests for the ceremony which I THOUGHT covered the champagne toast so I didn't say anything about that being outrageous...then I thought the cocktail hour was $10 and was open bar plus 3 cold appetizers. I've now been told that only covers champagne and 3 appetizers and if I want open bar it's $15 per person...UMMMMM...there are so many things greedy and wrong with this!! Yes I did that but no matter what I do the bottom part won't print...lol...I guess if worse comes to worse ill just print it on an entire sheet of adhesive and cut out each label.

Did anybody have issues with their printers cutting off the bottom portion of the template/labels? I changed the margins to .5 etc but its still doing it...frustrating!!

I'm toying with the idea but it would definitely have to be more of an "artistic" shoot since I'm the fattest I've ever been! Lol! (Thanks babe for proposing now instead of when I was skinny! Lol) Let me know how it goes!
