Many thanks! I'm glad you said that as I haven't heard the best reviews to date, I'm hoping they've improved over the last few years I've been looking through the restaurant menus and they all look great, I'm really spoilt for choice. Would you recommend one over another for a wedding dinner? Just want to make sure we choose a nice dining experience for this special meal. Yes we're staying at the Suites too, we'll be there from 26th Nov - 10th Dec It's a shame you can't book a private dinner / reception for any amount of people really, surely if you're paying it shouldn't matter? But I have seen their guidelines and it's not fair So which restaurant have you decided on instead? I haven't yet gone as far as a count down but I like you're thinking ;-)

Having spoken with the WC we decided to stick with the on-site wedding photographer, I do hope we've made the right decision now... I haven't been given my wedding time either as yet, I have asked the WC though. I've sent off my Final Details Sheet so I hope we can find out pretty soon at least so we can have an idea of what to expect. I've also heard that 4:30 or 5 is the norm, so if we don't hear before we go I guess we can take this as a pretty good indication. There's only the two of us going out there so we've no need for a private dinner or reception, a nice cosy meal will do us nicely We were planning on going to the Cajun Restaurant but we also have a choice of the Suites restaurants so I'm still a little undecided. Are you having a private dinner / reception? Which restaurant have you chosen? I can't wait now, not long to go!

Does anyone have any pictures of the pier wedding location please? I've heard this is more intimate than the beach and would love to see some pictures before I make my decision.

Hi Collleeen12, Another lady recommended Roan Robinson, his work looks brilliant and very reasonably priced! I'm still trying to find availability at the moment. I still have lots to do but looks like I'll be finalising most things when over there as I'm sure we'll get much more time with the co-ordinators. Have you been given your wedding time for the day yet? I'll be sure to look out for you

I've had some really great help from the ladies on here, much more than the WC's too. I'm just doing some comparisons on prices before I decide on the photographer. Just a little worried that I may have left it a little late and also not sure how to book someone in from outside the resort. As I can't get hold of the WCs I'm not sure on the process. Also I haven't even been given my wedding time slot yet, very worried as I can't even give the photographers a time. I've never heard from the WCs, no one has ever been in contact to ask about my requirements and I can never get an answer when I try, so like you I'm just doing a lot of it myself based on research. Hi all, Newbie here. I'm really hoping someone could help me please, I've tried searching through threads to answer my questions but can't seem to find the relevant answers and I'd really appreciate some help if possible. I'm flying out to the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites on the 26th November 2012 and getting married at the Rose Hall Beach on the 1st December 2012 due to a little mix up with bookings from our Travel Agent it meant we couldn't get married at our own hotel at this time but I hope it will all still be ok. I'm trying to find out how much an in-house Photographer costs at the resort, if anyone happens to know please? I've tried getting hold of the wedding co-ordinators at both resorts but to no avail, I appreciate they are always extremely busy. With only 6 weeks to go, I'm getting a little nervous that we may need to save some more money to cater for the costs but would really like to know an estimate before flying out. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it :-) Many thanks, Rebecca
