I'm having two dresses for my DW! The first is a dress I've been drooling over since before I even met my FI...they no longer make it, so I'm having it made for me by a designer where I live...lucky for me, its costing less that half of what it would have cost if i bought the original, best of all, I can have her made is the most beautiful blush pink silk I've ever seen! Here she is: And this is my second dress...I will be wearing this one to the after party, as well as for our TTD shoot the next day! Both of them are being custom made and will ring in at less than $1500 for both including alterations! WOOT!

i agree! Weddings either bring out the best or the worst in people....My mom hasn't spoken to me since I got engaged, even though FI and I have been together for 5 years prior to that...so much for happy times eh!

im in the process of DIYing mine right now! I've printed off all my contracts and planning sheets with the resort. Im also including a section with all my emails between myself and the WC at the resort to bring with me in case anything goes wrong while we're there

I'm having my wedding in the middle of June, b we were originally going for July. I've never been but apparently hurricane season is from June to October ith August and September being the active months, but I was told there's always a risk during those months...what everyone does say is its HOT HOT HOT!
