  1. My gown is ivory colored and it's satin. I expect that it could be super hot come my wedding (as with any DW I believe) so I chose a strapless gown.
  2. I'm wearing {Red-I} by Chelsea's barefoot sandals on my Mexican DW. It's great with or without your stilletos on. Here's are a couple of samples: Hope this helps!
  3. I'm going to have a multilingual wedding. I'm American and hubby is Spanish. I also have relatives in Quebec so add the French language. FI and I already have a multilingual wedding website at www.twowed.com Now I am looking for a great multilingual wedding registry. Care to share some nice ones? Thanks in advance!
  4. I'll be having a Red-I by Chelsea foot jewelry too! But still thinking of which color to pick with our pink and purple theme... Lots of beautiful styles to choose from.... Me too, I may be wearing heels or shoes in the reception. But not on the sand, as I don't wanna get a sprained ankle. LOL. The barefoot sandals could be worn barefoot on the sand and with my favorite footwear.

  6. Thanks for the response missb0308! I will be wearing barefoot sandals next year for my Mexican beach wedding. Any ideas on which wedding day toenails to complement my glittering {Red-I} by Chelsea barefoot sandals are appreciated.

Nature plus elegance topped with sophistication? It is possible! XOXO Chelsea I love your creations Chelsea! Very gorgeous for beach weddings and traditional church weddings. Love 'em, especially these 2!
  8. Hi ladies, just wanna ask on your ideas on your wedding day nail style. I found this and fell in love with it. However, I'd be wearing a hair comb and complete accessories and do you think this is too much? And isn't it recommended for a beach wedding, or it isn't much of a problem (like chipping, something like that)? What y'all think? Would you prefer to have one? Or nothing at all? Thanks ladies!
  9. I'll definitely wear a veil! But my veil would be a simple sheer and not that long. Resembles the 6th pic Playalovesme posted, minus the few studs. (Thanks Playalovesme!) Before I was thinking not to. Actually, I think I look good wearing one or not as I'll be having an updo and will wear a hair comb. But I prefer to wear one. Perhaps without wearing a veil, my wedding get up wouldn't be complete.
  10. As of now, we've been together for 5 years (2-week courtship, LOL!) and come our wedding day we'll be for 6 1/2 years! Quite an average time including the "adjustment period" (Whew, LOL!) proposal, engagements and all that but it seems that we've been sharing a lifetime.
  11. Yes, lovely!! I love that red flower orchid! So exotic and unique. I am thinking of blending red to our wedding theme.

  13. This is so beautiful! I love the way how this gown accentuates any body frame!
  14. Hi Kay6356! We're on the same boat, but with my mum in law. Every time she makes a suggestion, yes I listen to her, but in the end we remind her that it's still up to us if we're gonna use her suggestions or not. I know she gets a BIT disappointed but she gotta accept that! Now in your case, you gotta be open to your wedding preferences. Speak up, it's your wedding. I think she'd understand and a fight shouldn't be in the picture. Stay away from bad vibes! Moms tend to bit stubborn and they still think of us as their little babies so I think it's best to always remind her that you're in charge at times when she becomes a control freak over your wedding. Remind her in a nice and polite way. Good luck and hope we all have our dream weddings come true!
  15. I wanted to have a destination wedding coz I wanted it to be extra different and extra special. Well, my mom and dad had their wedding held traditionally- a church ceremony and reception was held at a fine dining restaurant. My older brothers had their weddings the same way as my parents' but the 2nd one had a garden wedding. I wanted my wedding to be extra memorable for the people who've attended. I think 30 (50 max) guests is fine. Me and my fiance loves the beach and a beach wedding is just perfect for us. I have great respect for traditional and classic weddings but I think it's about time to look forward to something great, exciting and fun like a destination wedding. Indeed it's a ceremony+vactaion+reunion+partey in one!!
