Sorry you didn't have a good experience with her From my recent wedding on 8/13/13, I thought she was fabulous and great to work with and very reasonably priced compared to all the high priced WC's in Cabos. Your wedding was in 2006...maybe she's more experienced now? Not sure but just sharing my 2 cents

Upon Pucca's recommendation above I contacted Gonzalo Verdeja from Art' N Colors Photography & Video and couldn't have been happier with my decision. Everyone loved the vivid pictures and beautiful moments he captured. Before contacting Gonzalo I had also contacted a handful of photographers & didn't get much of a response either...maybe they are too busy?? He's not one of the bigger vendors in Cabos but I can vouch he did a fabulous job and worked well with our budget. His packages are very reasonable and he's very responsive. He kept in touch on Facebook and email throughout our trip there before, during and afterwards. We had originally worked in the budget for 3 hours but the wedding party went on way past and he was nice enough to stay longer for us. Maye Cortinas was fantastic. I'd highly recommend her. And she's very affordable!

I just got married a couple of weeks ago in Cabos. It was at an amazing villa.... Villa Cielito in Chileno Bay. In the beginning I had decided to not use a WC. However, as the big day approached ..clearly I needed some help. Then i thought maybe I just needed a coordinator for the day & I'd deal w all the vendors myself. In the end, I am so glad I used Maye Cortinas as a full WC. Had ~25 people for my wedding and she gave me a great rate of $1200. She was awesome. She's a local and was absolutely great & patient about everything...especially when I kept changing things on her. Although we didn't have a large wedding...there were still a lot of details to work out. She's affordable and very helpful.

I just got married in Villa Cielito (Chileno Bay) in Los Cabos a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely AMAZING photos!!! We have received so many compliments & whom the photographer is. Gonzalo is very professional, personable, and talented. As another bride mentioned above, we also wanted to look for a "local" photographer w/o all the wedding hype which every other Cabo bride was using. I had tried to get in touch w a couple but didn't receive any responses. Gonzalo replied right away & has always been very responsive and helpful. His prices were within our budget and he does fabulous work as you can see...and these were just a couple of our many favorites. We had originally only booked him for a couple of hours and ended up using him for 2 more and he was nice enough to stay throughout our crazy fun night! Definitely highly recommend him! I just got married in Villa Cielito in Los Cabos couple of weeks ago. We had an amazing time -especially due to the great vendors we chose. I'd highly recommend FLOWERS AND EVENTS LOS CABOS. They have the most fantastic arrangements and Vanessa will work with your budget and NOT screw anything up. I am about to hire Maye Cortinas as my WC for a Hacienda location in SJ Del Cabo. We have about 25 ppl and she is charging $1,150. I've read some negative posts about her from 2008-9 on this forum and skeptical. I suppose I could add in the contract if I'm not happy with her services I can be refunded...anyone else have experience w her other than Ducker?
