yeah i know that gown i also have that one saved as one of my favorites its soooo beautiful! but then my sister thought that it looks too much like a prom dress. :S i still love it though its beautiful!

@uhura526 i live in Trinidad and tobago those original dresses cost thousands of dollars in my currency for example the perri marie by maggie sottero cost 8500 and we cant just walk into a bridal shop and try these dresses on cause they dont have any in stock they sell strictly by ordering, you go to the shop pick out a dress from a catalog and they order it for you for almost twice the amount, they even have an option to have the dress made via a republica dressmaker at a cheaper cost but they wont say who is the republica. and the dresses they have in stock are so ugly i wont even let me dog wear it on her wedding day lol. but you are right i have alot of time to decide.

hey donna i really hope all goes well girl! now im nervous cause i honestly cant afford the real designer gown,, and jasmines was my only hope.. oh dear,, what should i do??

that first one is the one i decided on going with but since jasminsbridalshop messed up kittyinheels' gown i think i might go with lace "essence bridal gown D1158 or D1209". the style of that dress is maggie sottero's perrie-marie,, im so much in love with it!!!

oh girl... "big hug" im sure you will look beautiful regardless! i just wanna break down and cry because of your experience. this could have happened to me cause i wanted to order a dress from them that is made of the same material and they told me that the designer grade is partially silk, but now i know that by partially silk they probably mean 1/8 silk,, smdh! now im thick and curvy, size 14 hoping to get down to size 12 for my wedding "fingers crossed" and having a dress made with a non stretch, thin material will show up all my flaws, which is something i wont want on my day. so thanks a million for sharing your experience. i think i might order something asymetrical and lace from them, they seem to be really good at lacey dresses. im from trinidad and 1usd cost 6.46 TTD in my currency so you do the maths. 500usd is equivalent to more that 3000 TTD that is alot of money,, i cant AFFORD them to be careless on my dress!! i might just die!!!

how stupid can they be making a dress like this with fabric that has no stretch??? why did they put a corset in a dress like this? WHYYYYY? and this is what i dont get.... why de hell would jasmines send out a dress to a customer knowing that there are sooo many errors?? they are admitting that they were careless? this is your wedding day a once in a lifetime moment wtf?? I dont think anyone will notice the stitching. your veil will hide the bumps which is bearly noticable. get rid of the corset, but u cant take it in or else u wont be able to dance properly cause there is no stretch. i think you would look beautiful though cause you do have curves in all the right places!! so i wouldnt worry if i were you!!! you deserve your money back cause this dont look like designer grade fabric. the designer fabric is nice and thick and rich looking and drapes so it hugs your body! BUT.. im sure you will rock the aisle dont worry!

oh yeah,, now i remember, i scrolled through and i saw the pics of her dress and i even commented on it. i think the gown looks soooo beautiful! they did an amazing job,, i love it. maybe kittyinheeels should post some pics of her wearing the dress cause judging from pics of the finished product the dress looks beautiful i cant even criticize!

OMGGGGG now you got me nervous as hell kittyinheels. may i ask what style was the original dress was it a maggie sottero? and can you please send pics of the one jasminesbridal made? cause i emailed them in regards to having a dress made "perrie-marie by maggie sottero" and they told me that the designer fabric is in fact a silk chiffon that they will be using. how thin is the fabric? total designer grade fabric and craftmanship for my perrie-marie gown cost usd573.00... idk maybe i should stick to my lace gown "essence Wedding Dresses", Essence D1158 or D1209 to avoid disappointments??? they told me that the essence wedding gown cost usd750 total for either designer grade! please post some pics hun im begginggggg

donna this dress is beautiful and i agree with the others when they said that the sash makes a huggge difference. u are probably just a bit nervous! invite a friend over, have a drink and try the dress on again properly this time! keep us posted btw did you pay anything extra for designer grade? or was this premium grade?? it is beautiful donna they did a GREAT job! calm down

ummmm... scratch head, i think it looks better with allll the bling, but whatever makes you feel comfortable i guess the dress looks beautiful either way!

IM still trying to decide on a dress :-( its sooo hard. today i will fall in love with a dress and then tomorrow i would change my mind and go look for something else. and not to mention the fights im having with my sisters cause they all have individual ideas of what type of dress i should wear, "the fighting is fun though i must admit" lol. i think im going back to my original plan getting something Asymetric and lace. i looked online and came up with these dresses made by essence wedding and bridal dresses and absolutely loved them its been 2 weeks and im still eyeing them so thats a good sign, it shows that i really love them and i didnt change my mind. i emailed a copy of both dresses to Jasmines bridal for a quote im awaiting their respond. the reality pic of the white blond girl trying on the dress i also found online and she looked sooooo beautiful in it. i think im gonna go with that one! what do you girls think?
