I have had a horrible experience with Sungold it has been almost a year and I am still waiting for me wedding photos. I recieved a few, asked for all raw pictures even if they were horrible and I still am MISSING ALL MY RECEPTION PHOTOS. I have no pictures from the speeches, first dance, father/daughter, garter toss...nothing from my reception. They said the memory called malfunctioned...would they not have a back-up system?!? I still have not been compensated or even apologized too.

I used Romeo who was an amazing person but still have not been contacted by with a solution or compensation. Those are memories that I will never get back.

Does any past brides or current planners have any advice on how to avoid the vendors fee for photography? I am using Sungold and associates and was thinking of paying for the photographer to stay a night as a guest to avoid the $800 fee...any advice?

Thanks Staycee1 I think the survival kit will be perfect I am also ordering waterproof pouches for there keycards/ money etc. I will be ordering more then I need to maybe we can chat and split the order if you want some. Thanks hun!!

Hey Stay cee1, You are ahead of the game! For sure our paths will cross. I am still looking for items for my OOT bags. Where did you find your items in Toronto? I am excited to know someone else from T.O is going down at the same time!

Wohoo!!! So I just heard from Chandlyn (after three weeks). I had to call Jamaica and get in touch with her. I have read all the pages on this blog now and I am so happy to have so many questions answered. Reading everyones reviews I have booked the Dolce Vita for reception dinner, the Dj and Gazebo for reception dance/ party and the wedding Gazebo with steel pan option. Has anyone here payed for the 'Unforgettable Package?" I just wanted to know if those little perks were worth the extra $900? I also wanted to ask about the menu options for Dolce Vita. I read on the earlier posts and the menu selections got very mixed reviews. Hopefully a bride who was there recently can help me out. I am looking to add in a group excursion as a Thank you gift for my guests before they leave. Any reccomendations on a package? or group discounts? Is it best to this through hotel? or contact the excursion group directly to get a good deal? Any response would help! xoxo

Hey I will be getting Married July 5 so I will see you there!! Thanks for the advice! I have been awaiting emails from Chandlyn for quite some time now (2 weeks). I am going with the Unforgettable package but am wary that it might not be worth the extra $900. I have emailed a few times to see if I could confirm renting out the gazebo and Dj with the Dolce Vita for a semi-private dinner with no response. These are important details to have confirmed. I am getting very impatient with the major details being up in the air. Sigh. You mentioned calling them at what time do you suggest is the best time?

Hey I was reading some of the older blogs and they had the photgraphers stay a night at the resort so they were considered guests and it was cheaper then vendor fee.

Hey Brides...I am such a newbie. I just booked my wedding here for July 5, 2013 I am really confused on the reception situation. Chandyln mentioned to book the Picses for $2500! What are all you brides doing, or have done for your reception?
