  1. Interesting you read the product description that way. I understood it as the first link being cheaper due to the fact that you couldn't choose from the 6 flavors. Also, they do have this product which says right across the picture "empty tubes" http://www.bulkapothecary.com/lip-balm/empty-lip-balm-tubes-available-in-black-white-or-clear-stick-starting-at-06-unit/ Because of this I ordered the ones that were .14 cents each that I linked to. BUT they did come empty. I was convinced that the wording was poor and since the other tubes said "empty" that I hadn't ordered the wrong thing. I emailed them and politely explained my confusion. They immediately sent me tubes that were not empty for free- no questions asked. They never really clarified if those ones for .14 cents are. MEANT to be empty or not. :/
  2. Hi ladies! I just wanted to let you know Michaels has some if their beads on sale for 40% off! The beads on sale are the beads I used so I can tell you first hand they are good beads.
  3. It's one of my favorites, too! It's such a fun font but only appropriate for certain things!
  4. Thank you! I'm sorry I didn't use a template. :/ I dabble a little in graphic design so I actually designed these from scratch. I used picmonkey.com. It's a free online editor and pretty easy to use if you fool around with it. Hope this helps!
  5. Haha first off- thank you. For me, DIY, scrapbooking, graphic design... It's all very soothing and fun to me. I just really love it! For the sandals- yes the string I used is elastic. I used clear so you can't see it. I found it right in the beading aisle at Michaels. It was long enough for me to make 4 pair with plenty left over. Sizing- I really lucked out on this. My foot is about a 6.5/7 and I know my girls have similar sized feet. Similar enough anyway. If i were you I'd use your foot as a guide and then for the 9's just make the string of beads that connects the anklet to the toe loop slightly longer. Better to have them a little snug. Since they are elastic they will stretch. If they are too long they flop over and don't look so good. I made my first pair too big and had to start over. They seem a tad fragile but not bad. My 18 month old got ahold of one and was pulling on it and trying to put it on and it survived so I'd say all in all they are pretty sturdy lol
  6. What a clever idea to give them as a gift when you ask them to be in your wedding! Love it! As far as finding the right beads... Etsy and eBay are definitely great! Michaels can go either way. For me, Michaels was the way to go bc they had exactly what i was looking for and they were on sale plus I had a coupon!
